Can't play episode 3

I guess I am one of many. I bought the XBox Live version, played episode 1 and loved it. I immediately bought episode 2 and loved it. I bought episode 3, hit play and it started episode 1 and wiped my save. I played through episode 2 hoping it would fix...nothing. I tried starting on episode 3 and doing the randomized choices just so I could play it...still started episode 1. I tried deleting and re-downloading everything...no go. I wish I had read about this before I spent money on a pile of useless crap.

    THIS WORKED FOR ME WHEN NOTHING ELSE DID

    keep a back up to copy over any glitched saves

    1. once you complete chapter 2 and the credits are done go to your stem memory options...DO NOT START THE NEXT CHAPTER

    2. delete chapter 2, NOT YOUR SAVE

    3. delete chapters 4, and 5

    4. reload the game and start chapter 3 SHOULD load it fine

    5. when you complete chapter 3 and the credits are done delete chapter 3 and redownload chapter 4

    6. rinse and repeat

    found this my self. I will make sure to never pay money for any game you have a part in for the rest of my life, same goes for my family and friends....

    I have same problem on my XBOX 360.
    Today, I will try your solution. I hope that it work for me...

    Just wanted to throw out there that this worked for me as well, thank you so much buddy. Funny how some random guy was able to fix it better then the game company itself.

    Ok, at the risk of sounding like an extreme n00b... what does he mean by "stem memory options"... where exactly is that located :S I'm having the exact same issue at the exact same point and I just wanna play episode 3 :'(

    Thanks for the advice man, at least there is way to play the all game.

    Despite this, the company must do something about that 'cause it is a pain in the ass when someone want to replay the game.

    When I try to play episode 3 on my xbox, it puts me back to episode 1, too. Telltale should update it and fix it.

    Do I have to see any advice of the update when I start the game?
    I erased all the files, reinstalled them but when I go to play it doesn't show me anything.
    I'm from Italy!

    EDIT: Sorry, I figured the update now, I will try in the afternoon!

    System memory options, sorry about that.
