Ash and Brock's eyebrows graphics glitch

The game is awesome, but there is some serious tearing on the screen involving Ash and Brock. It looks like Pool Cue sticks are coming out of their eye sockets.

I'm playing on a late 2012 iMac:
Processor 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 1024 MB
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    Having similar issues on my Mac, and no matter what resolution / render settings I use - I can't seem to fix them.
