Closets are comfy. Although after being in one for 21 years, mine was starting to smell. And the febreze was outside the closet.

Praise Darth Marsden for suggesting Lazarus.

Actually, thank the person who suggested it to me. Wish I could remember who it was...

Oh, and DAISHI - I'd do her, so you must be on to something!

All my fancy adaptors came today. As soon as I plug them in... my GameCube will become fully operational and I can get down to destroying planets or whatever.

Little Inferno is a fun little time waster. Also reinforces how fun it is to burn things.

my keys and wallet are always attached to me with chains because else i will lose them by putting them down somewhere, but i have been doing that so long now i think i would lose them if i didn't chain them to myself because i would automatically assume they are attached to me

I do the same with my keys. From the Show Your Inventory thread, here's the contents of my pockets almost three years ago.

    DSC03083.jpg

And for the hell of it, here's how the contents of my pockets have changed in three years.

    E8ZhzBj.jpg

The scleroderma wristband doesn't technically go in my pockets, but I grab it on the way out the door along with the rest of this stuff. I've been wearing it since my mom passed, which will be one year ago on Friday.

Also, that's a new wallet, but I think my old one might be in better shape on the inside. All the credit card pockets kind of stretched in my old one, while some of the tape seams on the new one gave out instead.

Got a new key cut yesterday, and I'm looking for a cool (and relatively cheap!) keychain to attach to it.

    Recommendations / Suggestions?

The first one has a very MILF feel to her, while the second (more recent one) is more Tomboy Next Door.

    Either way, both are hot.

After another all nighter, finished off the supporting cast. Just need to do a few animation frames of mouth and arm movements and then the entire batch of characters and backgrounds will be ready to send off to coloring.

That thread isn't even at two pages, with a total of FOUR proper participants. What a damn shame.

Anyone against a massive necro - or willing to help even?

I've recently argued that modern adventure game heroes have even less stuff in their pockets than the average person. I think I can prove this one.

...by the way, can anyone of you suggest a good, adventurey messenger bag? I'm in bad need of a new one and none of the ones I find are cool enough.

    yep.

I actually also heard about it from someone else on these forums, though I found said person's post about a year ago (I found a post of mine in July 2012, recommending Lazarus to der_ketzer), and the previous person had actually posted about it in 2009.

For starters, I've moved the pics that were posted here over to the Show Your Inventory thread! Also, if you feel it's such a shame, I would encourage you to get in there and share your own inventory. ;)

I like Fossil for that kind of stuff. My current bag is like a half-sized (or maybe three-quarter) version of this one (narrower, with a single buckle):

I like the style of men's bags better than most women's purses.

I'll take a look at the bags, thanks...

I can see roughly where I expect to be living in that picture (and before anyone says it I mean the London one, I ain't moving to North Korea).

Though it must be said that a soap set in Pyongyang would probably be a lot more entertaining than Eastenders.

Awesome. I made an animation in my game where the arms don't move because the character doesn't have an arm.

Somebody made an Atari Twin Peaks game that actually works really well.

I can't stop listening to Psycho Killer.

The lyrics are kind of hard to make out through David Byrne's weird mumbly talk-singing, but the second verse is scarily reminiscent of my own mentality.

    "You start a conversation
    You can't even finish it
    You're talking a lot
    But you're not saying anything
When I have nothing to say
    My lips are sealed
    I say something once
    Why say it again?"

Yeah, I probably need help or something.

Invest in better pencils (Staedtler Noris are my favorite brand) and a proper pencil extender (Derwent brand; or if you want to make me green with envy, import a Staedler 900-25 from Japan).
