I'm pretty set on leaving when I've made my din and Telltale hasn't changed a damn thing because they really don't care, and why should they? … moreDirect purchases from the website must be an insanely tiny minority that they don't have to give a shit about anymore.
But no, I'm not really a Double Fine fan and frankly I'm annoyed enough by the LucasArts Elitism in portions of the Adventure Game Community, I have no reason to make it worse by migrating to Double Fine. I'll have to find a new community more relevant to my interests that simply won't include many of you people.
I will stay in the sense that I probably won't be going anywhere else. But I won't be doing much of anything in the near future. That is, unless "watching a once-thriving community burn to ashes all around me" counts as a thing.
Fun fact: Comrade Pants has never played a Telltale game. And I've never played a Double Fine game either (though I own enough of them that I should).
Besides, you have to come to Double Fine if only to meet your doppelganger, a forumite by the name of Hot. Seriously, it's like Bizarro world over there. We also found a Dashing and I think possibly a Fawful, and they have their own Whatever thread that's even older and longer than ours (though it's much older and not much longer, so it's not as fast growing).
That's fine (sorry, I couldn't resist!). The Off topic section is pretty much just General Chat. I actually kinda prefer it. I just hate the colour scheme. It's so garish! It's in dire need of some Simpsons Gif's though...
I'm not leaving, but I sure as hell am not enjoying these forums anymore. See you guys over at the Doublefine, though. That forum actually looks like a, uh, forum.
I'm hoping I will wake up one day and this site will be fixed, like it was all a bad.. bad.. dream.
That will be the day, almost forgot, Octopus said he misses you already, he says you were a good friend, he moved into the Ben Walking Dead Pro Board forum so you know.

Yeah I think an Invision forum would have worked nicely. I am finding the new layout quite confusing, and on an iPad you dont even get a full screen you have to scroll right to see posts.
It was broken. The site had all kinds of problems and needed to be replaced. That said, this is a step backwards. This site has been even m… moreore broken so far and is not the best design. Why they would invest the time and money into building their own forum software when they could've bought a license for something that works better is beyond me.
I won't leave Telltale. I own almost all their games and can't wait for The Wolf Among Us.
I enjoy these forums and the people on here. I don't post that often though, because... well, work, relationship, child, etc.
The Walking Dead is one of the best games I've played in the last couple of years, so I enjoy reading reviews and helping people out getting it to run.
Cause everyone here is moving to DoubleFine. We've already assimilated the natives to our eccentric ways and will soon have subsumed the remnants of their culture into our own.
Sounds promising! But could we have some kind of indication--maybe a list--of things that will most likely NOT change? I get a sense that the overall architecture will remain largely the same with this kind of threaded/reddit-esque format and that any changes from here on out would just include adding new functions like polls or allowing us to edit our OP posts. Am I incorrect in these assumptions? Just what exactly is on the table in terms of feedback?
I believe we're committed to the threaded response model, but we are certainly looking at improvements in terms of navigation and user interaction, and generally making visits to the community hub a positive experience for everyone.

I left a long while back for the most part, but it's cool that all the cool kids will be going somewhere that doesn't hate their fans.

I count it, it is like watching your town get burned to the ground by whatever barbarian you prefer, I say Vikings.
not leaving as long has other people dont leave and hopefully Telltale folks see that we dont like the new layout and change back to the old one
I don't see that happening unless everyone leaves, and even at that I still am not sure.
I've never played a Double fine game though.
Neither have I but there's no harm to joining, at least to me. Heck, maybe I'll even check out some of their games.
Me nether, Double Fine does seem like a nice place.

Miss absolutely. Dildor's (and Crixus' posts) were really good value. Always enjoyed their input.
[Obviously not banned, but I did get a wicked fatal error message about an hour ago which has been the high point of the new community for me so far]
I'm not leaving. Then again, I didn't post very often anyway.
So you are saying the ban hammer does not work, I also got that fatal error about a hour, Van got the same problem.

I have no idea.
I'm still willing to be a test subject if needs be.
I got a bad feeling about that.
At least we have this http://telltaletwdforum.freeforums.net/
I still can't make a new thread. I am a Luddite after all.
So long and thanks for all the fish!
I'm not gonna post again till the layout is fixed. I'm over at Ben's ProBoard WD forum

I don't post much these days anyway, but when I do it'll be at Double Fine instead of here.
Everyone needs to come over to the Double Fine Forums already.
I hate Double Fine.
Those words...
Is it possible to use them in that combination?
Yes.
I think everyone will agree once I stop posting here altogether it's time for the forum a night or a day which ever one means its over.
Well... um... have fun in the empty forum?
Cause everyone here is moving to DoubleFine. We've already assimilated the natives to our eccentric ways and will soon have subsumed the remnants of their culture into our own.
Are they going to fix it? What have you heard?
Is "I Fine Double hate" in any way better?
Is that what a cop does in a dystopian world where you aren't aloud to hate in case you bring back the event?
coolsome, had Chyron not left already, this would have been the moment.
i'll just be staying here. i'm optimistic enough to think that everything will get better.
That's the plan! Our web team are listening to feedback and aiming to perform weekly releases, so the site is only going to get better from here.
I don't plan to leave, but I do find the new layout much more difficult to read and navigate.

He heard nothing, because there's nothing to hear.
Or he read puzzlebox's response below. Whichever.
