400 Days Crash

Hi, a few minutes into Vince's story in 400 Days the game keeps crashing at the same point (Danny is describing how much he misses his gf). I'm running it on a Macbook Air, OSX 10.8.4 via Steam.

    I don't see anything unusual in the support file.

    Please try verifying the game cache files.

  • I've tried that. It didn't work. I rewound the game and replayed one of the earlier missions, then will leave Vince's til last and hope it magically works by that stage.

    I've played through the whole main game and now 2 of the 400 Days missions without any crashes, it just seems to be this one place where it stops working.

    There is a slight chance that uninstalling and reinstalling the game helps, but if it doesn't I fear that's beyond what i can fix.

  • Tried that, but it doesn't work either. I've now played the other four characters' stories but cannot finish Vince's story or see the epilogue because of this crash. It's like when my CDs used to always skip at the same point. :(

    There's some other things you can try:

    • Disconnecting from the Internet
    • Reducing the graphics settings to the minimum and switching to windowed mode
  • Tried all that. Still didn't work. I'm not the only one experiencing this problem:

    It seems to be a bug in the Mac version of the game, rather than any of the settings of my computer.

  • Hi, I have written an e-mail some time ago, but they didn't really help me. It still doesn't work. What shall we mac users do about this? I want to buy the second season, but not before I finish the DLC...
