Continuity incorrect between episodes

So I've come so far having just started episode 5. At the end of episode 4 I saved Ben (Christa and Omit were coming along as well) and he agreed to come and look for Clem with me and Kenny told me to do one and went his own way.

Now at the start of episode 6 Kenny is there and Ben is not. This seriously sucks as this wasn't what happened and now I feel cheated of the finale I was supposed to have.

Can anything be done to reverse this??

    Please rename the prefs.prop in
    C:\Users\Jim\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead
    to prefs.prop.bak to deactivate it.

    Then move the prefs.prop from
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\WalkingDead104
    to
    C:\Users\Jim\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead

    Thanks for the quick response and help.

    I'm halfway through Ep5 now with Kenny (although looks like he's now bitten the dust!). If I finish it and then do what you have told me can I replay the episode with Ben then?

    That could work, from what I know about the save system, but no guarantees.
