PS3 Loading/Crashing

When the game switches between scenes and the pinky-purpley thing is in the corner, it will some times stop spinning altogether and just sit there for about 2-5 min then it will load again.
Im wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if its my playstation

    I'm not quite getting it that bad (2-5 min bad) but I did note the loading/saving icon would frequently "stall." I was having other issues as well particularly with audio being out of sync, stuttering/repeating, and lines getting dropped or cut off.

    Given that the season pass isn't available for a few days yet I'd think that would be a reason the problem doesn't seem "common."
