The Walking Dead Quit Unexpectedly After OS X Mavericks Update

Within a span of just a few hours, The Walking Dead went from playable to unresponsive immediately after I downloaded the OS X 10.9 Mavericks. I have tried to reinstall the software, I adjusted my Security and Privacy tab to Allow apps downloaded from anywhere in order to reinstall. I tried to open The Walking Dead in Low Resolution. I also Ran the TWD_create_support_data with Terminal. Im not sure what to do, but I really want to play this game.

    This issue is now fixed with an update to the game on the Telltale store. Un-install the previous version and then install the new version to be back in action.

    There shouldn't be any need for an update to the Steam version as it was already working in Mavericks.

    The steam version has a few bugs. For me the quality stays at low although i have set it at high. there are also crashes every now and then

    WRONG! I am getting crashes AFTER the game is FULLY LOADED and I am IN GAMEPLAY on the steam version! I already contacted support (Ticket 11124) and they said "We are aware of an issue on Mac OS X 10.9 where The Walking Dead will crash on launch. We are currently working on a fix and expect to have it live soon." - How exactly does that relate to my problem?

    I dunno, i guess we have to wait for an update, its all good with season 2 though and wolf among us
