When I get halfway to episode 3 it says it loss my save and restarts me to episode 1:(

Hey first of all I would like to say that I'm a really huge fan of The Walking Dead and I mean no hate against Telltale Games. So that out of the way lets get to the problem that me and many players have on the Xbox 360. I bought all episodes including the 400 days and when I first downloaded 400 days I was so excited to play it but when I press play on 400 days and when it was loading a sign pop up that says loss game save file and it sends me back to episode 1. I got pretty mad on that day so I stop playing the game. Then a week ago I started playing so I can be ready for Season 2. So I play episode 1-3 and in the middle of episode 3 it says loss my save and I try over and over and it does the same thing. Please help Telltale Games you guys make really good games and I enjoy sooo much of them (especially The Walking Dead) if you fix this problem it'll mean a lot to me and a lot of other gamers. Thanks for reading this and keep making great games!

You are getting the Storage Device Lost error. That was fixed for new users in a patch, but, it could not be fixed for players with existing save games made before the patch. I'm very sorry that you got this bug. If you delete your save file completely through the XBox Dashboard Save Data Utility and then create a new Save Game by starting over again, that new save game will not have the issue. Deleting your saves in-game will not fix the issue.

  • ok i deleted all my saves and redownloaded the game for xbox and it STILL wont save my game. im at a loss and about to give up and NOT buy season 2 if i cant do things my way in the story.

Did you delete your save game from the XBox Dashboard Save Data Utility? If you only deleted them in-game, that will not fix the Storage Device Lost issue. It needs to be a clean save game to get around this issue. The game does not need to be un-installed / re-installed.
