Honestly it's just annoying. (how to unlock without an internet connection?)

Tell me, has anyone else found this annoying? Say your PC doesn't have internet. No problem, just download it on you Mac, put it on a jump-drive & now put it on you PC. And then here comes the fun part! YOU NEED AN INTERNET CONNECTION TO START THE GAME UP! Really, is that really neccessary? Really? We can play the demo right quick but playing the actual game which I BOUGHT it doesn't work. I don't mean to sound like a whiner, but it has always bothered me with your downloads that we need to sign in EVERY time is just tedious. So please, consider my plee. Make it so downloaded games we bought, know that we bought them! It is all I ask.

The game doesn't need to activate every time, only the first time. And we give you a disc with no online activation for free at the end of every season.

Can't you also get a manual unlock code if you're willing to jump through a couple of hoops?

Stolen from the Product Support page...

What if my computer doesn't have an internet connection?

If you want to play a downloadable game on a computer that isn't connected to the internet, you can unlock the game using a Manual Unlock code. When you first run the game, click "No thanks, just take me to the demo" to bypass the login screen. Click the "Already Paid" button, then go to the Manual Unlock tab and follow the instructions. You will need to email us your serial number and the request code that is displayed in the launcher window, so we can generate an unlock code that will work on your computer.

Also, I'm gonna throw this over to the support forum.

Uh, no need. I apologize for my internet rampage. I did not know that I could merely type in the serial number, & get it that way. But still I'm just saying, maybe the next time you make a new season make sure to keep the regular game & the demo SEPERATE. Personally that make it very simple for me in my opinion.

Edit:NEVER MIND! Now, do I keep the dashes in or out when I do those support codes? Because if I am then I am overly confused.

Edit: Never mind the first never mind I just read what the above post said.

Once more edit: Not to sound whiney but this is soooooooo needlessly complicated.

    1) If you have an internet connection you can unlock the game by typing in your username and password. This works fine for like 95% of the world.

    2) If that doesn't work for some inexplicable reason, you can switch to the "serial number" tab and enter your serial number. This probably covers an additional 3% of the world.

    3) If THAT doesn't work (likely because, like you, you're on a PC which has no Internet connection), you can click the "Manual Unlock" tab, and follow those instructions. They are admittedly a bit sucky, but they do work, if you follow the instructions. You can save or print the manual unlock request code, and we'll happily validate it as soon as humanly possible (usually extremely quickly) and get you on your way. It's a bit of an inconvenience for that small percent who (like you) sadly haven't got Internet on their gaming PC, but it does work. Again, sorry that you have to jump through a hoop. Your PC would be happier if it had the internet, you know. :)
