Restoring restoring purchases failed. Sandbox account?
I felt the hankering to play the game again (I never finished anyways) so I reinstalled it. I had previously purchased the all episode pack (before 400 days came out). I went to restore my ep2-5 pack, it asked for the iTunes password, then a couple seconds later the game just crashed to the home screen. All other apps were terminated previously to launching TWD.
I completely rebooted the iPad 2 with the power and home buttons, and now I'm getting this error about a Sandbox User Environment when I try and restore:

We have not seen this error message locally, and it appears to be an Apple system message. It could be due to having an iOS device that is jailbroken, or a developer version of the OS on your device. You can try signing out of your account then trying to restore purchases again. Also, you may want to try resetting your password. Further research suggests that resetting your system settings may also resolve this issue. However, you may want to contact Apple Support for further assistance with this issue.

I assure you my iPad isn't jailbroken or has anything particularly unusual about it. I'm probably just gonna restore it via iTunes tonight.
Have you tried deleting and re-installing the game? This is an Apple message. The crash on restore seems to have gotten the game in a weird state. Some other users have reported this on iOS 7.0.4 after getting a crash when either purchasing or restoring DLC. Thank you for the screenshot.
Coolio. You guys were right, it was a problem with the iPad and/or Apple's backend stuff. I just wiped and restored the iPad while the Blackhawks game was on. Did the trick, thanks! What a strange error. XD
