Instalation package could not be installed

Hi guys and girls,
Sorry if its been answered before, but, i downlaoded TWAU and i cant get it to install. Click to run/save and it comes up with "This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valled windows installer package"
Any idea?? Thanks.

Oh yes i definitely downloaded the windows file, not the mac.

    The file must have been corrupted during or after the download. I've seen this before with some security software products.

    Please delete the corrupt file, and download it again during a clean boot.

    Booting clean in Windows XP:
    1. Click Start --> Run --> Type msconfig --> Click OK
    2. On the General tab, choose Selective Startup
    3. Uncheck Process SYSTEM.INI file
    4. Uncheck Process WIN.INI file
    5. Uncheck Load Startup Items
    6. Click on the Services tab
    7. At the bottom, check Hide All Microsoft Services
    8. Click Disable All
    9. If running the game on Steam, re-check the "Steam Client Service"
    10. Click OK
    11. Click Restart
    12. After reboot, run the game to see if it works.

    After performing the necessary steps, restore your settings by doing the following:

    1. Click Start --> Run --> Type msconfig--> Click OK
    2. On the General tab, choose Normal Startup
    3. Click OK
    4. Click YES, when asked to restart your computer

    Booting clean in Windows Vista / 7:
    1. Click Start --> Type msconfig --> Press Enter
    2. On the General tab, choose Selective Startup
    3. Uncheck Load Startup Items
    4. Select the Services tab
    5. Check Hide all Microsoft services
    6. Click Disable all
    7. If running the game on Steam, re-check the "Steam Client Service"
    8. Click on OK
    9. Click Restart.
    10. After reboot, run the game to see if it works.

    I suggest you test the files integrity.
    First download and install Hashcheck.
    Then copy this md5 file into the folder that contains the TheWolfAmongUs.msi.

    Finally just double click on the .md5 file for verification and tell us the results.
    Green: File is okay.
    Yellow: File is missing.
    Read: File is corrupt.
