To be honest They should start releasing their Wolf Among Us episodes every 5 to 6 months.

  • & also episode 2 is coming out in February

  • Truthfully, Im going to be so busy playing the Walking Dead, I wont even notice. Then I'll be playing Wolf and wont notice the wait time for Ep 2 of Walking Dead.

  • But it'll only take about 2 hours to beat each episode..

  • Thats not counting replay plus, I do have other things to do, like work lol.

  • Not all episodes are going to be released three months apart. It wouldn't just be bad for us but it would also be bad for Telltale to do so. Walking Dead Episode 2 had a similar situation but the proceeding episodes were released in a more timely manner.

  • if it means their episode will be longer, and the decision tree more intricate, then i don't mind waiting for a long time.

  • yes, but that would be unlikely :|

  • Then, It seems to make sense to wait until at least episode 2 of TWD is released before purchasing season 2.

  • Lol..

Everyone search youtube for an upload by Machinima called.. "Gamer Poop - The Wolf Among Us"

Hilarious.. I'd link it but.. Yeah, haha..

  • In my opinion I'm annoyed (because I have to wait to 2014) but I'm also happy because more time spend on a game makes it a better game

  • Crap, it feels so far from now. I hope they plan on porting this game over to the next-gens. Also would be nice to have some themes and gamerpics.

& also episode 2 is coming out in February

  • Wow, people really dont like that Im happily playing both series lol. Really though, I think Im in the best position. Either way, I get to play a great game, no matter which one comes out first.

Would you say this for 3 hours of gameplay if it was 4 months of waiting between each set? 5 months? 6? When does it become too much?

As it stands it is going to end up being 3+ months before "hopefully" getting a solid ETA.. Even then.. Odds are it will be vague come January.

Yeah.. More time does not make a better game. Good work does. Beyond that it is just efficiency and planning skills.. And telltale is low on that account. As with customer interaction, support, reassurance, etc.. I think they took on too much at once... And they need to get a lot better with customers. No information for long periods of time is unacceptable. Vague information is not information. "Hope to have more for you soon." Followed by an ETA on an ETA which was an ETA with random screenshots leaning towards another ETA in January.. This business is just ridiculously unprofessional. It doesn't breed faith or confidence very well.

"A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." - Shigeru Miyamoto.

Wise words, and ones people often forget. I understand three months between episodes sucks. It does. But it's not going to happen with EVERY episode, and I'd rather Telltale got the groundwork done now then have further delays down the line.

That said, they really should have done the majority of the work BEFORE THEY LAUNCHED, and not keeping people updated that they weren't going to stick to the planned timeline is not cool.

The lack of information is a big issue, and one I fully sympathise with. I knew nothing about this until you guys did, and while us mods have often said that Telltale needs to keep people informed, this really wasn't what we meant!

Hopefully Telltale can learn from this. Fingers crossed.

  • I hope you're right
