Episode 2 will not load, support data link included inside.

I've completed ep.1 and when launching ep.2, the game freezes with a black screen, and displays an ax icon stuck on the left side.

    Please rename the prefs.prop in
    D:\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default
    to prefs.prop.bak to deactivate it.

    I renamed the listed file but it's still freezing at the same point when loading chapter 2. Any ideas? Thanks again for the help.

    Please verify the game cache files.
    If that doesn't fix it, you might have to rewind and replay the last chapter of episode 1.
