Season 2 Episode 1 Will NOT save

I completed season 1 as well as 400 days and recently purchased the first episode in season 2. The opening screen prompted me to import my season one save file, but did not ask what device I wanted to save on, IT WILL NOT SAVE I have played through the first 25 minutes or so maybe five times now, two times my character died and the "press "A" to continue" screen froze completely. I am a huge fan of the game but am feeling very cheated at the moment. Any answers would be appreciated greatly. Also I am playing on a 250g recently purchased model, I have had no problems with my other games.

    Were your original saves from another Xbox or stored on the Cloud Saves? We are currently looking into an issue where saves from one Xbox are not being read on the second console. Please try making sure your saves are all on the hard drive, and disabling cloud saves. Then restart the game, making sure you are already logged into your account. I apologize for the inconvenience.

  • I appreciate your prompt response, my saves from season one are all on my hard drive, I used transfer cables from my old Xbox to this new one but have had no issues with any other games (downloaded or otherwise) it accesses my complete season one game successfully, but as I said will not save, also there is the completely separate issue of the "press "A" to continue" screen freezing, to be more specific when my character died, it asked if I wanted to continue, I press "A" and all that happens is I hear walker sounds. I am able to access the pause menu but it maintains the red hue over the screen, I can then only exit the game from that point and start over.
