Shit does happen of course. I personally have found their customer support service to be contemptible though. Answering a question you're treated like an annoying kid. Been frustrating being Irish and not getting Walking Dead also. Friendly and informative after sales support goes a long way.
It hasnt even been 3 months and no where near going on 4. Shit happens. Bugs, story changes, setbacks. Im sure most focus was given to Walking Dead season 2 for a while.
Luv that game. I'm looking forward to ESO.. Though it is sad in some respects.. As because of the mmo.. There may be no more releases for the rpg series in a while.. But still.. I love the idea of housing and potential guild housing, etc.. I really enjoyed how galaxies did it back in the day. Hope they model from that.. Would make for a fun experience to raid other guilds towns.. Not being able to destroy anything not flagged able.. Cause I'm sure it would piss some people off if they build up something and it can just be destroyed, lol.. But yeah.. have a tavern or a guild hall and housing, etc.. pool resources for enhancments on such installments.. Place forts and pool points for AIs to go on patrol.. Forts defences and AI's would probably be automatically flagged so anyone who raided could destroy that, lol.. I dunno I'm just speculating, I just know there will be houses and things of that nature etc.. so the idea that they can expand on that is lots of fun.. I wonder how resources will apply in that regard.. And if crafted gear will equal to any of the best gear drops from dungeons.. Cause not everyone likes to have just raiding as they only way to get end game gear.. it would come to reason that they could develop a system where matts to craft end game gear can drop in the raid instance and then be sold on the trade network etc.. good way for guilds in full end game to make money for other things.. and it allows for players who both like and dislike raids to gear up.. They new star wars mmo had that system.. As well as decent pvp.. they just didn't release enough content to keep everyone interested soon enough.. So hopefully ESO doesn't make that mistake. I'm very excited though! that pvp looked fun.
OK, keep on complaining. The skilled staff of programmers, writers etc. at Telltale should not care. They create stories. You wait for them. You can't expect to receive everything when you feel like it.
We started to get less "fluffy frienfly" after they chose to stay frequently away from these forums, not the other way around.
And we have … moreall rights to complain, as many already buyed the complete game, despite it not being complete.
We shouldn't be thankful for Telltales games, as we pay for it. They should be thankful for the trust we put into them with this purchase and which they misuse now for around 3 months.

Taking money from people for a season pass on release with the promise of each episode coming out within a certain time frame. Then offering people who buy it "later" a reduction in price, openly treating the more loyal initial customer with a lack of regard before the 2nd episode comes out.
Also I have had trouble with The Walking Dead Season 2 on XBox Live, seeing as I'm an Irish Citizen. It wasn't released here and they gave no explanation, at one stage even saying they had no plans to release it here at ALL. This, after selling 400Days as a prologue to Season 2, which they had no problem taking money for.
After a while, under much pressure, they said that there was a ratings issue in Ireland and that was the reason it wasn't released. This makes no sense as Ireland uses the PEGI system, which had passed it. Coupled with the fact the the game was released in Ireland on PSN an Steam, making this reason completely invalid.
When quizzed on this the same one line "we have no plans to release in Ireland" was given. This is the same as going into a store with a complaint and the store manager sticking their fingers in their ears and singing "not listenninnng, not listenninnngg".....
So there you go.... I have found their support to be awful.
Well, I'm probably more disappointed than anyone regarding the length of time between ep 1 & 2. I thought the debut of the Wolf Among Us was fantastic, and giving a philippic (yes, I just used that word) isn't going to change the release date. If it would, I would. Totally. So, now I wait.
If it's not out by the end of the month, I might flip my noodle, though.
You know Telltale announced this game 5 years ago.. It was supposed to be released November 2011, having been worked on for 3 years.. it didnt get released until late 2013..and now there's 3 months between episodes 1 and 2.. My logical conclusion based on these facts is that there is something very wrong with the game that Telltale have been trying to fix that is causing these delays.. You gotta remember their game engine hasn't been updated..its the same one they've had for 8 years and they are asking it to do a lot across multiple platforms.. I imagine there must be some serious technical issues because obviously its not good for them to have gaps these long between episodes.. and a serious issue would probably explain why they have been so silent regarding the delays as well.. Just my hypothesis[2 cents]
Well.. Then one would think they would have the professional foresight to not release until all of that was ironed out.. Or at least say there is problem and offer the option for a refund to those who purchased the season's pass, if, in so fact, they are tired of waiting and don't want to deal with any more shitty customer support, or lack there of.. I personally, if offered the option for a refund, would take it. Money better spent going to the theaters and seeing something in IMAX far as I'm concerned.. And no.. At this point, considering everything.. I would not buy it later on upon completion. If they would have talked and informed us of what was going on, and showed an effort to engage the community.. I would, perhaps, think differently and stick with it.. But it is too late for that now. I want a refund. And if somebody knows how I can go about doing this without getting absolutely NO reply from telltale, please let me know. I purchased my seasons pass on the PSN, so.. Just saying.. I'm not going to bother with this kind of wait for 3 hrs on each and every episode.. If they have the ballz to say we are so very sorry, it won't happen again, we effed up, etc.. And release every month from that point on starting from episode 2 being released this coming week.. Maybe.. But I highly doubt they will.

I can't agree more. The problem isn't really the waiting, it is the lack of information. How can they just ignore the fact that people who spent money on 5 episodes before they where released wants to know where that money went?
We seen an awesome episode this far but after 3 months it doesn't matter anymore since people (me included) have lost interest in the product.

Please Telltale!... finish the game already so this thread will die! Or at the very least give info on why the delay. Expectations are high for episode two so I hope it's worth the wait.
This "no communication" void has been a problem since The Walking Dead, there were delays between episodes and we got nothing but radio silence which made people even angrier. It's terrible communication, terrible PR and can only hurt Telltale. As you said clear communication about the delay and you can understand as a customer and put up with it, but when they tell you nothing it doesn't help at all. I don't agree with the strategy at all...

So unless Telltale submitted the episode right beofre Christmas time to Sony and Microsoft we are likely not going to see it until January 20th or later since it generally takes 2 weeks for stuff to get approved through those channels and Telltale staff isn't officially back in office until tommorow (January 6th). So have fun waiting....
Actually that shouldn't be the question was just trying to lighten the mood people are freaking out over nothing sure yeah i bought the SP and all am i pissed about waiting yeah but u don't see me coming on here "This is bullshit rah rah rah telltale sucks rah rah" crying like my mommy put me in a dress because i'm a 8 yr old throwing a tantrum is there nothing else u have to do but sit on a site and rant about how a game company runs it's operations?

Hahahahahaha. No bro you haven't lost interest in the product. As soon as it's out you're gonna wet your pants and buy it twice by mistake, like everyone else here.

I hear lot's of people saying "I don't care about the wait, it's just the communication"...
Now wait a minute.
For any other game with a fixed release dates, I absolutely don't care about waiting. I play another game or I put my attention on something else until its out, no biggie. What bugs me about telltale releases is the fact that, not only they gave themselves the luxury of not operating under fixed deadlines like every other game developper (I can deal with this), but there is always problems and releases are always pushed to the limit.
This makes the wait much more frustrating, in my opinion.

Man TellTale 's been messing with us. No news for this amount of time,I wouldn't be upset about the delay if they gave a shit about community. Saying nothing to their fans for almost 3 months is no good.
This video symbolizes the situation. Imagine a Wolf Among Us fan, left naked in the dark. Hammering on a wall of silence. "Is there anybody out there?" No answer. He is left entirely to his own.
In the second half of the video we see him trying to pass the time. Trying to put all the stuff in order and figure out a meaning to it all. This is all the theories people are making up about what might be happening on the other side of the wall, or where the story might go. Stuff is set in order but is ultimately still unsatisfying. When that is done he passes the time with other routines like shaving.
We will get a release date by the end of the week, so be patient. The second episode is already uploaded on Steam servers so most likely the game will be released on 14 or 16 january.

If it's not ready to go by now, as in today. I believe we not entitled, but we deserve/earned an answer to how long the wait is exactly. For their paying customers, simply waiting the truth. Many here supported this company, before their large success and based on the past. They do not ignore the community. Tell Tale, man up and just tell us what is going on.

I did the same exact thing, I wanted to be a werewolf again. (and yes I know Bigby is a windwolf not a werewolf but still)

How many times does it have to be said? Its the bad "after sales" quality of customer support that's the problem.
You are just talking nonsense. What problems of customer support have you experienced?
Calm down, you wont lose your staff job

To this day, I find the most amusing thing is to be a Khajiit Werewolf. Wind up chasing myself all across Tamriel.

I'm just waiting on my next books to arrive, the first 3 collected Jack's among them, pretty stoked!
Enjoy!
Made a profile just to say how ridiculous this wait is!

Lets play "guess when we will hear more news" LOL come on people take ur guesses
Soon.
The real question should be,when do you think telltale will finaly give a S#%@*?
Ahh... the forbidden word.
Let's see if I can do as good a job as telltale... Some month, on any given week, at some particular hour... that should just about cover it.
Dude where were you 66 days ago?
Actually that shouldn't be the question was just trying to lighten the mood people are freaking out over nothing sure yeah i bought the SP and all am i pissed about waiting yeah but u don't see me coming on here "This is bullshit rah rah rah telltale sucks rah rah" crying like my mommy put me in a dress because i'm a 8 yr old throwing a tantrum is there nothing else u have to do but sit on a site and rant about how a game company runs it's operations?
To answer your question if I have nothing else to do.
No, I don't.
That's awfully specific, you just need to say "Coming neve.. I mean Coming soon".
i wasn't asking u wow smh
Hahahahahaha. No bro you haven't lost interest in the product. As soon as it's out you're gonna wet your pants and buy it twice by mistake, like everyone else here.
I got the hammer for mentioning a bit of Yo-Ho-ho-and-a-bottle-of-rum of an anime that isn't even have a proper English sub/dub release.

Talk to me!
And if you are wondering. This is not a happy situation.
ٍSo it seems that early January is 31 January ? because the first week is almost over and yet nothing ...
What will happen to this thread once the game is (eventually) released? Its probably the longest running thread ive ever posted in...lol.
Which is, if you think about it, a big shame....
We will get a release date by the end of the week, so be patient. The second episode is already uploaded on Steam servers so most likely the game will be released on 14 or 16 january.
Although this would be really nice, I need to ask from where you got this information (uploaded on Steam). Just curious.
