i agree. their pr people should start doing their job. and just to clarify something about my previous posts, i have no problem with people co… moremplaining. what i do have a problem with is people acting like children, whining and feeling entitled. which seems to be the vocal majority. and to avoid any confusion, i'm not talking about you Big_Ordeal
you really think that telltale isn't already working on 2 games that are supposed to be out by the end of year? at the very lest there are writers and artist working on them now.
To be honest, when I bought it at Steam, they only written they're going to finish by the time summer ends. While e.g. release of four episodes during one month before the deadline would be in extremely bad taste, it isn't contrary to the description about what I've bought.
(Of course, I also don't like the way Telltale handles the situation, but I don't feel like they extorted money from game or whatever..)
Guys, you don't get the point of this whole waiting time, do you?
This is actually all part of their newest project:
" How to piss off loyal costumers - A Telltale Games Series"
EA already plans an adaptation.
Any wikis should never be trusted for release dates, since they can be edited by anyone. Only trust dates that come from Telltale staff on th… moree Telltale forum, on the Telltale blog, on Telltale's twitter, or on gaming websites that have interviews with Telltale staff (but only when those websites have official interviews, as even those websites have tendencies to use untrustworthy placeholder dates).
There haven't been any official time frames released, but the latest news from Telltale's PR person @puzzlebox, just four days ago, is that Telltale have been hard at work on episode two throughout the holiday season, and that they are still working on it now.
@puzzlebox wrote:
Please be assured that the team is hard at work on Episode 2 of The Wolf Among Us (devs were working through the holidays!), and we'll have further news as it becomes available. We know you're waiting eagerly, and really appreciate your patience as we work to get the next chapter to you!
With all the waiting I feel like I've spent money on a kickstarter project and not bought a season pass. Only at least with kickstarter I actually get updates from the devs and not 3 months radio silence.
Thank you to both Jennifer and @puzzlebox for replying and shedding some light on the situation.
Please thank the devs for working through the holidays as well! I really appreciate it!

I mean their should be news within the next couple days right, i mean they did say early january/after the holidays/ soon after the holidays, we should get something soon I want to see Bigby vs Beast
I'm more worried that they had to change the plot significantly as a result of the fanbase working out the mystery straight away.
I hope that's not the case.
..... But when I say this I get a ton of downvotes and a bunch of immature people telling me to more or less fornicate myself

well considering they've said that they were on acid at an award show in dresses it could just be trial and error with drugs... knowing our beloved south park creators of course.
Trey Parker once had a bad case of the flu when he had to voice characters on South Park (consider they do this week by week when seasons are … morein swing) - and the flu killed his voice pretty much. He just got a shot of steroids into his throat, was good to voice, but later couldn't talk for a few days.
That's dedication.
We should have news before January 10th. That's the latest "early January" is in my book. I have been buying the comics and devouring through them to help pass the time, but it makes me even more excited to play The struggle.....
Me too i've been obsessed with the comics, reading each of the story arks is so much fun, its definitely been helping me pass the time, i am dying to have episode 2, hopefully it does come soon, in the next couple days

Major flaws? It was dues ex machina that made no sense at all + it was choice A, B or C which Bioware clearly stated before the release of Mass Effect 3 wouldn't happen. One of the best games I played but the worst ending ever -,-
Some of the theories may be good but really. I don't think they would introduce the murderer in episode 1 and especially not the way the "ginger guy" was. If he was meant to be the killer then it's just bad writing.
There is something about Puzzlebox though, sneaking around the forums like this. Maybe she is the murderer, just saying.
Mass Effect 3 ending had some major flaws, but I fail to see why Telltale should really care about guesses from forum they don't even respond … moreto. ;P
And while there are many forumites, but those are but a vocal minority of players. I am quite certain your average player didn't read forums & all theories.
(Though this may be just my bitterness, as I strongly prefer stories with great characters, good, witty dialogues & logical conclusions to 'OMG I never knew murderer was gardener!' ones.)
Pretty soon buying a TTG game will be like locking in to a game for 3 years. Over 3 months have passed. You know what's damn funny I prefer the older TTG games to the newer ones. I was critical of TWDs2 so far. In my mind BTTF. And TWDs1 are the best this company has produced.

This is no place to discuss Mass Effect 3, but yeah, „serious flaws”.
And seriously, I don't think „deus ex machina” sums is, as those are not last ten minutes that are dumb. It's the whole Catalyst plotline that makes no sense. I have no idea as to why military even bothered to build the Catalyst in spite of never trying to figure controls beforehand. As seemingly Catalyst were constructed by giant octopuses, there should be no guarantee anyone could use it from inside, as there could be e.g. lever to activate it, conveniently customized to Leviathan's size or it could be simply activated by some weird shit like hanar scent communications. OR there would be quite a multitude of buttons, so figuring how to power this damn things up could take days.
I'd very much prefer Catalyst to prove just a Reapers diversion: plans delievered by their indoctrinated servant to coerce galactic races into building massive yet useless structure, effectively draining the resources that could be used to fighting R. legit. But of course this is just my opinion.
As for The Wolf Among Us: I really never understood the need to „surprise” readers/watchers/players at all costs. Really, for me what's best of TWAU doesn't revolve over killer's identity. I am more interested in seeing the relations between Bigby and Snow, Toad or Woody (which are connected to the investigation, of course) and all the things that happen meanwhile than having night impossible to guess villain. Trading good storyline for surprise would be IMHO awful tradeoff.

I hope so but what makes you think we'll get any today or tomorrow just guesses?
"Abandon all hope..."
You are only entitled when you want or demand something that you didnt earn or pay for. Not the case here.
Well, that was exactly my point.
How was i being pessimistic?
maybe you should stop being so pessimistic how about that?
Well...I have no hopes either, but germans are in general pessimistic.
I'm aware of that, thus i replied to Tesla89's comment and not yours
I was asking if you why you thought it would be today or tomorrow
you were basically saying that we wont get any news

Well lets not compare Telltale to EA just yet, that's taking it a little far :P

I almost spit out my coffee from laughter when I read that. LOL!
Telltale,Telltale....if you're able,TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT EPISODE 2!:D
Telltale games is a sophisticated torture technique developed by the Chinese-Russian-US AI computer AM
But they are etching it close to 3D Realms.
Even AM would have a little sympathy and offer us false dates, rather than nothing at all.
actually, she said nothing. it was "we're working hard" 2 months ago, and i'm pretty sure you will hear same phrase many many times later.
I am going to cry if i don't get some news within the next 2 days, that their time limit ;(
I mean their should be news within the next couple days right, i mean they did say early january/after the holidays/ soon after the holidays, we should get something soon I want to see Bigby vs Beast
Bigby reminded me of Telltale in these clips.... silence:
Edit: added an additional scene

haha silent bigby is awesome
but Silent Telltale is not
Episode 2 better be incredible, is all I'm saying.
Or else.

I still think TWA episode 1 was actually the best Telltale has showcased so far, with the exception of TWD season 1 finale.
