Lol.. For it it was December.. Nothing, nothing, nothing.. Stopped coming back.. Month later.. Nothing, nothing, nothing.. Rage

Every day since New Years I visit the forum hoping it will be the day a release date is at least announced. Every day I am disappointed. Grrr.

Thats a mighty big statement after just having 2 hours of gameplay of TWAU....

This is why you don't go and work on 2 games simultaneously telltale. 2-3 weeks per episode, more like 2-3 months... Do try to meet your dead

  • Not complaining about TellTale's commitment to their games. Otherwise, we would probably have a shitty episode 3 by now.
I'm not impatient as well, I don't care, if I have to wait another 2 days, weeks or months, as long as I get information.
What bummers me is, that there is literally no interaction between fans/costumers and TTG anymore.

Other companies tell their costumers at least, why a game comes later or is postponed...

Well lets not compare Telltale to EA just yet, that's taking it a little far :P

  • Prepare the salt licks...

  • So why doesn't telltale ever tell us a thing? Yes in the end were happy with the product but I rarely EVER go on forums other than for this game. But are they really just lazy, busy or just don't want to make any promises they can't keep. Because I'm not sure whether to be mad or be patient (well..more patient than usual)

  • Am tired of waiting, i'm just gonna come back in a like 3 days, and try and forget about this game, checking every day is killing me :( hopefully in 3 days we'll get the release date

  • Isn't it possible that in order to write and complete this episode, they had to do signficant planning ahead for future episodes? We've had a significant gap between the first two episodes, but could this mean that the remaining episodes will come out much closer together?

  • How long has it been since TWAU episode 1 ?
It feels like an eternity. :(

  • If that's the way it turns out, I'll adjust my buying threshold from "final episode" to "second episode." I can live with all kinds of delays if I just know what to expect before I buy in.

2011!?!? They've been working on this since 2011.. And episode 2 is still in the air.. What!? Granted he said.. Originally announced in 2011, but still.. 3 hr first playthrough release beginning of October, when they were originally thinking in the summer.. Known about this for that long.. Yeah.. Horrible planning all around for this delay.. And with nothing being said.... Well..

I'm going to go concentrate on my new computer build..

    Intel i7 4770k - Processor
ASUS Maximus VI Hero - Motherboard
    16GB-24GB Ram
Cooler Master HAF 922 Black - Case
    Thermaltake Water Performer Liq. Cool
    1 TB 7200rpm - Hard Drive
    120GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD
CM V 1000W Gold Power Supply (Already checked to work smoothly with 2 780ti cards in SLI)
    DVD/Bluray Burner etc..
    Heatsink and Fans etc..
Mid-high end soundcard for HD 7.1
Windows 7 64bit Professional (Apparently better for gaming then windows 8)
2x EVGA Geforce GTX 780Ti Superclocked in SLI..
I might get more space on the SSD.. But yeah..

Will look to upgrade further in march or April..

  • I WANT ALL OF EPISODE 2 IN MY MOUTH

  • Maybe this is just wishful thinking. Sometimes I wish Telltale would adopt the "Netflix method" of just releasing the whole season at once, but to be fair, that defeats the point and kills the suspense/waiting. I just don't see any reason for the complete radio silence on this episode, especially coming in on 2 months past the original projected release date. Best case scenario they're just waiting until it's definitely ready so as to not give us false hope. My guess (based on nothing, just a conjecture) is that we'll get news today/tomorrow/Saturday and it'll be released next week?

  • And soon they're going to publish another 2 games .
I won't ever again buy anything from TTG , even after the whole game coming out because to me customer service is as important as the game itself . There are plenty of other great games out there to play :|
They haven't said anything in months about the next episode . TWAU is the last TTG game that I'm going to play .(and that's because I've bought a season pass . silly me!)
This post is coming from someone who once was one of your biggest fans .

  • I'm sort of to the point where i am no longer mad. Seriously believe that since we are now a week through January and STILL no update or release we should just be refunded, and be allowed to decide at a later date whether we want to re-purchase or not. Though we all know that doesn't happen. TellTale...please be professional and at least give us some information, even if it is saying you have pushed back production on the wolf and do not expect a release till may or something.

Telltale are not the company they once were. They used to be so good at customer service. What happened?

  • Oh, and when was that good customer service era?

I know TT since the beginning of TWD and since then, always the same bullcrap. Vague approximations, false promises (not as bad as right now tho) and no communication.

I am getting convinced that next step in Telltale evolution will be claiming (in an update) that next update will be posted when it's ready. (Or quite soon.)

  • But TWD season 2 was updated at the same time. Unless you suppose that episode 2 of season 2 is ready...

  • Personally I just skipped crying and moved on to the ''silently pissed'' stage wherein I imagine all the nasty letters I'll send to Telltale if Ep. 2 isn't out this month.

And if they say it's coming out sometimes this quarter I'm personally wrapping, stamping and sending them 147 bricks with a little note: ''will you finish the fucking episode already, or do I have to send you the rest of the shithouse?''

  • An update about an update leading into another update

  • We got news from TT two days ago. The big cheese wants to make a James Bond game and some original IPs. Sure, it had nothing to do with this game but it's a statement in early January. You didn't expect something more, did you?

  • Here's to riding it out in Limbo.

  • I guess we have to bomb the support with requests again.
I know where they are, telltale staff hired all wolf-developers to search and retweet any good feedback from gaming magazines all over the web.

Like the toddler would ask his parents, I am a good boy right? Yess my son, you are pet his head

    Yes Telltale you are

  • Oh, my, god, another Crane!

Also, I find it ridiculous that among all the retweets there are next to none about TWAU. Like they're mocking us with silence.

  • I got an interesting email today. It was my 32nd update from Ronimo games telling me what they are testing and when they might implement some new features from the expansion to Awesomenauts. Each email I've received is a nice three or so paragraphs long explaining in not too great detail what they are up to. I payed for their expansion well before it will be released. I actually bought it before TWAU and you know what? I'm happy. I love the way this is being handled. Even though their expansion is not fully released, I know what they are working on. I know what characters are coming and I know approximately when they should come, or if not, why the content is being delayed. Even if they aren't being completely honest, (which I doubt) at least they care enough to lie to me.

I know what good customer service is, and because I do, I will never buy a Telltale game again. Where is your news page? Where is your email? "Well developing a game takes effort." Why yes, it does. Writing three paragraphs and posting it on something does not. I will pick the developer who tells me what is going on and wait two years over the developer who treats their customers like a pet rock and releases consistently over three months. It's an appalling way to treat people. I am not a piggy bank. I am a human being, and will continue to buy from developers who treat me like one. Maybe not even human, I'll settle for subhuman, or at least someone who has the ability to treat me like a customer.

Way back in the sam and max era, when they were a smaller company. I joined when I played sam and max season 1 back in 2007 and a lot has changed since then. They used to interact with their fanbase, and was one of the reasons why they were my favourite company.
