Even when you tel customers to their face, their being fucked over. 80 men. I'm good from right here.f face Weget lextures on paitence and qua… morelity games. It's all ULLSHIT. No one needs six or a year to make a great quality game. I just don't like people lying saying their is. spreading false hero.
telltale needs to show the fans who have been loyal and bought season passes some respect here and give a little something back. i am not looking for money or free games but some gesture would sure be nice.
It would be sweet if they were like "hey fans we are so sorry for the wait, and lack of communication. Here are episodes two and three" but alas we can only dream.
Although I really like the idea and it would be nice, I have put your high hopes down. I'm sorry, but if episode 2 was finished why delay it further and wait to finish another episode. After all that's was episodes are good for: not to have to wait until the whole game is finished but to release it in smaller autonomous pieces.
Sorry, but I'm afraid that this particular dream is not going to come true.

Not sure who you're saying sorry to. Either the holidays are (partly) causing the longer wait between episodes or they're not. Questioning Telltale's foresight is a different issue entirely.
Sorry but they should consider holydays when making announcements.
If they stepped their games up, they should also step their customer service game up.
When learning a foreign language, there will come a point where you stop sounding like a foreigner and start sounding like a teenage native. During this phase, people will criticize your language skills as though you were a child, instead of someone gradually accomplishing a difficult but worthwhile task. Don't let it get you down. Your English is actually getting better, if you no longer sound like a foreigner.
I think it is just a language barrier in Fuse's case..
I will say one thing though.. I am soo going to call months moonths now. Hahaha..
"When are you getting it?" "Oh.. Sometime next moonth." Don't lie.. It sounds better! Lol.
You know, I've actually got a pet theory for this: console certification. I hear all kinds of things about how you're not allowed to delay the XBox version of a game, even if the PS3/PC/iOS version is ready to go. I also hear that if you are delayed by certification, you're not allowed to say so. Is it possible that TT's PR department is weeping into a beer mug, cursing Sony/Microsoft/whoever for not being allowed to do their jobs and tell us what's up?

Eh... I can't imagine why M$ would tell them they are not allowed to say that the game is delayed due to certification. Hell, I don;t think TTG's lawyers would even let that stay in a contract without renegotiation.

I honestly think he sounds more like an angry caveman than an angsty teenager, myself...
From what I can tell, fusedmass seems to believe that the update "early" this month will not actually be the episode being released or even an ETA for the episode, but rather another "More info to come at the end of the month!" post.
Sadly, I have to admit I don't find that all too unlikely.
Dear fusedmass,
When learning a foreign language, there will come a point where you stop sounding like a foreigner and start sounding like … morea teenage native. During this phase, people will criticize your language skills as though you were a child, instead of someone gradually accomplishing a difficult but worthwhile task. Don't let it get you down. Your English is actually getting better, if you no longer sound like a foreigner.
It's notoriously difficult to negotiate terms with Microsoft. They know you don't want to lose that sweet sweet XBox market, and you'll agree to all sorts of draconian nondisclosure agreements if it adds 30% to your bottom line.
I'm not saying it's definitely happening, but I still see it as highly plausible.
Eh... I can't imagine why M$ would tell them they are not allowed to say that the game is delayed due to certification. Hell, I don;t think TTG's lawyers would even let that stay in a contract without renegotiation.
The game is officially canon (well, as canon as it can be when things change based on the decisions your player makes), but it's a prequel, so nothing in the comics has happened yet.
No. You're speaking for yourself, don't try to make claims for anything greater than that. I mean really you're trying way too hard. There is no silent majority. Certainly not on this site since the apparent majority is pretty loud and annoyed with it. Most just don't seem to feel the need to go as far into the desperate for attention on a message board extreme that you have. I mean that's your thing and you rock it but I'm really starting to worry you might pop a blood vessel or give yourself an aneurysm.
I only bought TWAU recently (steam sale), but looking at this, I should have waited a bit longer.
A friend of mine, got it on the first day and obviously like many here he's getting quite frustrated now.
I remember when I said, oh cool, look Telltale will make Borderlands and Games of Thrones games he almost strangled me.
Whatever the reason is for the delay and whatever the reason is Telltale is keeping quiet it for sure isn't only bad for us, but for them too.
At some point many of the loyal fans will simply stop buyng the season passes and wait for the complete product.
Which is really contraproductive for Telltales episode format.
Yeah, if they can't do something about this, then the whole thing may highlight a fatal flaw in the episodic model. They might have to just release completed products like everyone else (Steam Early Access notwithstanding.)

Hope there will be real updates soon.
Today I'm not sad or anything about this delay ! because last night HBO announced that GoT's season 4 trailer will come out this sunday . I'll also see Sherlock's S03E03 on this sunday .
I guess we all have to find other hobbies !

If people want to post hate posts, they will regardless.
If TellTale wants to update season pass holders weekly on progress they will regardless.
Petition or no petition, I see no difference at all.
It's just a constructive way for people vent and if it gets enough signatures you never know.
I think it's better then the hate posts all over the forum.
The last thing a up and coming company wants is bad press.
If they did give weekly updates it could be unreliable. The thing with big companies is that they make a game much before release.. Telltale has a small timetable to produce their games. Would it be great for updates? Yea! Will updates make the process faster? no...

The purpose of weekly updates would not be to make the games come out faster. The purpose would be to inform us of how far along they're coming, or any other notable things going on. That would make it much easier to wait for any given episode to come out, particularly if it's taking far longer than expected

Community: Telltale, when will you release second episode of The Wolf Among Us?
1-At January ofc.
2-I don't know.
3-Next week.
4-...

But it's reality Telltale.

Oh, when he stepped in the droppings from the two guard dogs, and everyone who arrived stopped to check their own shoes after smelling it? It was a little jab at later events in the film, that could be construed various different ways. The most direct interpretation is to show that while the Butler looks dirty, it's everyone else who acts dirty. At least that was always my take... xD
I saw the movie. It was quite funny I must admit. And somehow still remarkably true to the game.
What was the deal with the butler smelling like dog shit in the beginning?
I dont need weekly updates. Monthly would be great. Great solution would be if they had progress bar for an upcoming episode and estimated date of completion. We dont need to know details.
This is from the blog: "We're anticipating another update on its ETA for release very soon after the holidays, and we couldn't be more excited to continue this series with all of you."
I hope they sort out their time management issues so that this doesn't happen again. When I get an email asking for an ETA on work that I'm doing for a client I usually also ignore them but when their second email comes in I try to be accomodating and honest. I don't ignore them for weeks because I know that they will either leave me or they will be slow with their payment.

Come on, it's not Half-Life 3 and you are not Valve. Release that episode.

End of early January's today in my book, but... I'll still stay hopeful.

"Community will remember this."
I'm confused. Was the update suppose to be sometime after the holidays or early January?
Exactly.

A progress bar would be cool.
I read "very soon" and banged my head against the wall.
Thanks for clearing things up tho.
No problem. I think we're starting to move out of the "very soon after the holidays" territory now.
