What is this talk about a patch? Was it downloaded directly to the game, or was it a Steam update requesting a restart? I didn't pay notice to Steam the past hour and didn't see anything.

They have very strict non-disclosure contracts, though they usually only enforce it on restricting full actual sales numbers being released. It's not out of the realm of possibilities and I was only listing options. Don't think Valve is any, or at least all that much, better than the others out there.
For the record, if it is a non-disclosure issue, I think the most likely party to blame would be WB.
Im starting to feel a little jilted i bought The Wolf Among Us awhile ago on Xbox live and even bought the season pass and i haven't gotten a new Ep. Yet, are they just gonna forget about TWAU because The Walking Dead season 2 has come out and Borderlands is on the horizon this Whomps i think telltale should give a refund to those of us who are a little tired of waiting or at least give us the eqiuvalent of our purchase on another one of the other games im very dissapointed.

Have you read the posts here? It's like narrow-minded fanboys vs. narrow-minded haters with some neutral or at least open-minded people showing up now and then. Everything could be possible.

I'm not a negative nelly by any means but Really!!! How many months now have we been waiting for something to come out and why be all G14 classified about a release date this delay makes my feet sad!
It seemed like sarcasm, don't worry, but as I said (or wrote?), one can never know.
Also, making clear that something is sarcasm on the Internet, without using smileys, is very difficult. Sarcasm usually can't live just from the content of the sentence itself.
Depends. Not that I've been keeping track or anything but...
Steam, Win & Xbox: 3 months, 3 days
OS X: 3 months
PS3 (US): 2 months, 30 days
PS3 (EU & AUS): 2 months, 29 days
iOS (International): 29 days

I love Telltale. I've been around since the first Sam and Max episodes and they've been great. I just wish there was more info on the delay. I just sent an e-mail to Kotaku to see if maybe they can follow up in a way that we can't.
Seems the Steam update added cloud support. However, it also seems the update has made it so that when I boot the game up, I have a white screen only. In other words, it's unplayable. I'm currently reinstalling it to see if that'll fix it, and will try searching for new graphic drivers. But yeah, if it doesn't work . . . I'll be a bit annoyed.
Yep, I meant that. Gosh, I totally forgot about TWD's delay though. I think Telltale might me losing their grip on the episodic model a bit. I still love their games, but...yeah. That's a little disappointing
Except they hadn't released the first episode before the delay. WAU has been delayed over a year from the original episode one Q1 2012 date. I… more think he means biggest delay between episodes... I could be wrong though and he might not mean that at all. In that case never mind this and carry on.

Telltale Games; "Alright guys, we dont have a fucking clue when this game is going to be out...But just you wait! This Christmas, we'll have an update for you!"

damn you telltale, fooled me with your 4mb update
early Jan my ass
I don't see any patches on my Steam...

I'm pretty sure it's 4.3mb for everyone. The 1.1gb just shows while it's still in queue, probably from the size of the initial download.
THe people are getting restless, Telltale. Up the ante, get to work and move your thumbs from out yo' butts.

Could you explain what just happend? All this numbers don't make sense to me. :P
Ah, my mistake. Sorry, I didn't see that comment.
My apologies.
Maybe they gave us news after holidays. They updated Steam. WOOWwwowo. Thank you telltale!!!
//sarcasm off
I just want episode 2. Is that so wrong?
Anyway, hopefully Steam update means it's coming soon.

Yes. It's wrong. You're a bad person and should feel bad for feeling that way.

Not sure if sarcasm or stupidity....
4,2 MB patch on steam -> Waiting is coming to an end.
Seriously?
If it's wrong, I don't want to be right.

I would like to think that this might be sign of ep2, but what i have come to expect from TT is that there is still 1 month to wait.
Yes, that's very true but... if that wasn't obvious sarcasm I, obviously, have to work on it a bit.

Who said that on 15 january the news come...no one knows
I feel bad for how I reacted to the 'two screenshots, see you in a month' treatment, but I would love something like that right now.
It's like I'm being conditioned to be content with scraps. You know it's getting sad when even a 4.3MB update enthused me at least a little.

The wolf among us is going to be amazing after the delayed of three months ...so guys please dont be so upset

Mine still launches just fine, I hope whatever issue that's going on with your version gets resolved soon though
Got it from this thread on Reddit. I personally DO NOT have an issue with episodic modeling.

We still have no news about the next episode of this game coming out. So, like, what is the hold up TTG?? Are they on holiday, or what?
Thanks . . . the same with The Walking Dead: Season 2, and they both worked fine before. Could be something on my end, but this is puzzling.
Noooooo! don't say that. It will be jinxed now
As in Christmas 2014 or 2015?
