You have to buy a SBCG4AP game while the promotion is running.

Not much good for people like me who bought the season pass already...

So... if I were to buy another copy of Strong bad I'd basically be paying full price for that sam and max game... so, nm that.

Kinda annoying that people who bought it already are just being shrugged off like this, especially the ones who bought the whole season.

As we've said before, we're not 'shrugging off' anyone. It's a promotion, just like you'd see in a store. If you bought eggs and the next week they were buy one get one free, would you go back to the store and complain that you deserved free eggs? I know I wouldn't.

With all due respect, that is a bogus comparison.

With eggs, eggs are always useful - you can buy eggs again and again and eat them, I wouldn't complain that I deserved free eggs no - at least if I bought the eggs that were buy one get one free it would be useful

But since I already own the season pass for Strong bads game, there is litterally no point in me even thinking about this offer.

It wouldn't annoy me so much but it always seems like the less loyal users get the better deal, I bought Abe Lincion must die and that came out about a month later free for everyone- I buy the season pass for strong bad and now this.

Bottom line, do what you wish I suppose, but next time I won't bother being loyal since I seem to get less out of it than people who are not loyal.

Okay, I'll use a different analogy if it makes you feel better.

What if I go buy a 360 from a chain retailer. It comes with an extra controller and a free game. Then a few months later, they have the same bundle at the same price, but there's an extra game in there. Again, you wouldn't argue that the store owes you a free game.

You also got a free copy of Ice Station Santa last spring when we ran a promotion and out of the blue sent gift codes out to previous customers. I think that kind of kills the loyalty argument. :p

Sorry guys, but we're not going to keep arguing about this. We understand that some people who bought the Strong Bad games before this limited time promotion are annoyed that they didn't get an $8.95 game for free. We have given alternatives -- just buy another downloadable game and send me a PM and I'll gladly give you Night of the Raving Dead, even though it's above and beyond the scope of this promotion -- plus we have repeatedly pointed out that this isn't the first free game promotion we've done, and it won't be the last. If you didn't get to participate in this one, stick around the community a bit and chances are very good there will be another deal in the future that applies to you.

Continuing to beat this dead horse isn't doing any good except frustrating everyone involved, so I'm closing this thread.
