I didn't buy episode 2 but I can play...is it free?

edited February 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

I played episode one on steam..

Today as soon as I launched steam player TWAU was automatically downloaded, and I just could play episode 2.

I didn't buy it, don't think it was automatically purchased...is this free-released? what's going on?

I thought every episode is 4-5 bucks each.

  • Did you get the season pass?

Yes. ...and I actually don't know what 'season pass' means. i thought it was just ticket to play first episode to taste the game. Did I buy whole game when I bought season pass?

  • It means your game will automatically update when episodes come out so you dont have to buy them seperately.

  • On PC/Mac, a Season Pass gets you all episodes and is the default/only option for Telltale's newer titles. For consoles/iOS, the first episode acts as the "main" game, and you can buy the Season Pass which contains episodes 2-5 as DLC.

  • You can't buy episodes individually on steam so you must have bought the season pass.

  • Wow, thx guys, that means I've already bought whole episodes. Great.

  • Yup. If a single, two hour long episode was twenty five dollars, I'm sure that would've been a different story. :P
