[SPOILER] Episode 2: who is the murder? The Investigation carry on
Obviously not Crane. I found the ending very much "meh", leading clearly to a point that was so obvious that was really dragging for too long the last part.
My theory of the Headless Horseman that want to scare Crane it is still on, but sincerely I didn't get any particular lead on this episode about anything, a part from someone stalking the bad habits of Crane.
The only clear conclusion of this episode is:
TJ heard a voice saying "Stop laughing at me", which it means that the assassin (or the one that dump the body in the water) must be someone with low self-esteem
Those lips are sealed, is related with the prostitute business, and with the magic related to the ribbon on the throat (a knot on the throat, to don't let people talk)
Crane is a pervert (well, no big surprises there) and it just had some luxury about Snow
The death of Snow as Lily, it is only coincidental. The people that died where prostitute, and I bet that there where both related to Crane for this kind of services. We saw that Faith covered for Lily so I feel that they could have the same clients under Glamour and the client not even noticing. Crane must old some more information about the Black market glamour and on why someone would hate him so much to kill people that he was close to him.
Dem and Dum are for me still very suspicious. I bet that they are working for Crane because he doesn't trust Bigby trying to get to solve the matter in a different and more under control way.
The tarot help you in letting you know what is happening in the story with some very large interpretation as hint.
We know that the murder it was wearing blue jeans and it doesn't live in the residence (otherwise he would have used the front door).
That the heads where placed on woodlands apartments with the intention of intimidate someone (probably Crane or to give a message to the community)
The assassin has low self-esteem and it is very full of feelings of revenge, and when laughed at, it get in killing mood (like being laugh about being incapable of having sex with a prostitute because unable).
So, or it is a menace to Crane, or it is a menace to the "higher up" in the community against the lower tier of people of Fabletown.
I think that still are missing many ingredients, but if there is the assassin, it must be in the book of fable.
TECHNICAL SIDE OF THE GAME:
I was a bit pissed off, because I clicked various time to some content, and it didn't work the phrasing that I have chosen. As well during the investigation I couldn't check the other option about the mirror what it was asked the first time (I wanted to try them all), and as well the investigation of the body I couldn't check the panties because the story lead me somewhere else.
Another negative point was the fight with the Beast that it felt that was put there just as filler because there was no fight otherwise (which for me it is fine if the story is good).
What I liked was the twist about Snow not being dead, and the investigation to Georgie, because that piece of shit, deserve it that I destroyed all the stuff around.
I am just pissed how "unprofessional" it is the whole investigation, letting people like Dum going out, once they are arrested, no having any possibility to charge him with anything to have threaten and assaulted TJ, and entered inside the house of the Prince Lawrence and how no matter what choice I made (gentle and kind one) didn't count as Bigby being decent at all.
My favourite moment seeing the guy with the arm removed, understood to don't mess anymore with me.
Comments
I doubt that Dee and Dum work for Crane. We've obviously haven't seen who they work for yet.
It's Lee. He's the boss now.
Seems like telltale scraped that Ginger for this episode. I don't think there was a single background character that entire episode.
They must of saw that people were overlooking into him too much and cut him out, or maybe he's The Tweed's boss! And he'll appear in the next episodes
