I JUST FUCKING TIGHTENED THE STRAP
I was playing my second save file and this time I choose to capture the woodsman. in the second episode's interrogation scene, I think I was pretty fucking nice to him. gave him a smoke, I DID'T hit him, gave him a drink and I choose all the nice responses. THEN, I tighten his straps, he says it's cutting of the circulation so I tightened it since he wasn't talking THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I'M A BAD GUY FOR TIGHTENING THE STRAPS.
I don't get it. also, the second episode was kinda mediocre. please don't hit me...

Jokes aside, I replayed the interrogation scene a couple of times (in my second play through, I was a real bastard towards Dee) and I noticed that you pretty much get chewed out for about anything violent. I don't think there is a set amount of how much/little violence you use in the interrogation to get Crane/others onto you.
FAR from Mediocre... I personally liked it even more than episode 1 just because of the character development.
I thought it was good, but it did seem rough and unpolished, and a little stark in places. It concerns me that the story seems to have been shunted around quite a lot, since lots of the events in the trailer didn't happen, or seem to have been moved to episode 3.
It also concerns me that the title card for Episode 3 has been changed, to show Ichabod's car rather than the Mundy cop. I want to see more of the Mundy!
I don't think they would just drop a whole character. The change is weird, yes, but if I had to guess, we should probably still see her.
well, I didn't think it was godawful but I did think the writing wasn't as good as the first episode.
now they gotta release twd s2 ep.2 really soon or I'll get pissed.
telltale needs to step up their game and release their shit on schedule.
Don't understand the people sayings it mediocre. I liked it a lot.
But yeah, I had the exact same circumstance. I was Good Cop through the whole interrogation, and all I did was tighten the straps at the end because I felt like Tweedledee was taking advantage of my kindly nature. All of a sudden I'm a torturer being chewed out by everyone for my mistreatment of a prisoner, as if I spent the whole interrogation beating the living shit out of him instead of just tightening the straps a bit.
I kinda-sorta did the opposite. I was harassing Dee. I pushed him around and i was stating to get on Ichabod's nerves. Then I gave Dee the whiskey for no reason. Bluebeard flipped his shit and told me i was treating him like a house guest. I'm sitting there thinking wtf I just gave him some whiskey, after beating his shit, and you're giving me shit for that one thing?. Sometimes, people...
They don't delay on purpose. The delay was for (I think) legal reasons with putting episode 2 on iOS and having to deal with their "No nudity" policy. The delay wasn't to put more content in the game, else they would have released it a while ago.
that's a very good point....
I was a complete saint to Woody, gave him a drink, a smoke, didn't punch him at all. Snow has a go at me. Is that because Bluebeard starts beating him? (Which I stopped by the way!) It was just odd really.
This whole set of events (interogation, talk to snow and talking to TJ) seemed to just try to make you seem like a bad guy no matter how!
I played it again to correct my mistakes and look at what happened:
Was reallly nice to Dee: Bluebeard starts punching Dee for your lack of violence and you HAVE to stop him, if you don't do anything bigby pushes him anyway. Looks like we are fighting, Snow things im crazy.
Din't say anything to offend her in the elevator: If you talk to her in that scene about her safety she snaps and tells you to let her do her thing, if you don't say anything she talks alone and start's screaming about me being overprotective.
And as a final note, even being nice to Dee/Woody in the interogation, Toad instead would not stop to bother me about the time i grabed him when i was interogating him in his house. I mean JESUS!
I think that's why bigby is having a hard time to earn the fables trust
That's my biggest gripe about the episode. ... same results no matter the choices you make. Very different from episode 1.
let's keep dis train going guize... choo choo?
Pixelated titties is the same as actual titties apparently...
all I did was tightened the straps and I it was a bit annoying that it ended up being counted as torture, even in the choices it says I "made Dee talk" which I don't think is a fair reflection on what I did. Aside from that, i really enjoyed the episode, with the twists being unexpected and very entertaining.
