4 Months Worth the Wait?

Well? Did you get what you hoped for? Was it well worth the months of anticipation. I'm pretty sure I did! (Frickin' Crane)

(I still don't understand the delay. If it was to make the final Episode come super-close to The Walking Dead's final episode, that'd be pretty cool, too.)

  • Lucky for me, I bought Episode 1 only a week ago. I had to wait only 5 or 6 days before this came out. But it does seem I got more content with more polish with Episode 1. Episode 2 was eh. But I understand it has to bridge the gap between the really important mysteries.

  • no it wasnt it felt rushed, i mean it was a good episode but wtf man..wheres prince lawrence after i saved him!

  • yes. i thought it was a great episode. the story is getting really L.A Confidential.

    on the other hand.

No, because 4 months was long anough that i can't connect with my original playthrough or the decisions i made in episode 1.

being honest i'd like to shelve the rest of the episodes till the season finishes and just play through all at once.

4 months was just to long of a gap for me to keep my personal narrative fresh in my mind.

    P.S
    fish boobs....

  • For an hour and twenty minutes? No I don't think so. Didn't they show Bigby holding crane over the witching well at the end of episode 1? It's like they cut some out or something. Just waited so very long, and it was so very short.

  • i totally forgot about his existence... I mean, he wasn't even in the "last time on twau" thing.

    agree

  • You have to remember (and i made a thread about this on TWD forum), don 't believe everything you see in the trailer because a lot of things we see doesn't happen. They add things to make it exciting. If you watch all the trailers for TWD you'll see what i mean.

  • As someone else said in another thread, this episode feels too much like a filler until ep3.

  • I liked it.
Wish they'd wait a little longer to show snow was alive, knowing she was dead gave a sense of grief and tension that befitted the game.
Writing is spot on, as ever. Less choices to make (none, actually).
I was expecting more grief for Bigby, seein' as what is expecting him in the next episode, but maybe I need another walkthrough.

But... worth the wait? Nothing short than a double episode could be worth a 4 months wait.

  • The cinematography was incredible in this episode!

  • Besides the Strip Club sequence, I found the cinematography to be very lackluster, along with the pacing of the conversations. I felt like the conversations in the first episode had a lot more feel and emotion into it with the pacing of the conversations. The cinematography as well. In the first episode the cinematography felt like it really fit into and accentuated the conversation. Both the dialogue and cinematography just felt... there.

  • I have to agree, and the tone of some of it didn't really make sense lol. For example, take snow white for a decent portion of the game. She just sounds angry for no apparent reason, even though she didn't even know about the head until after the angryness. Things like that combined with the stalling between sentences at some points really take you out of the experience. I liked the camera angles though, I thought they seemed decent enough, nothing really outstanding though, the camera was pretty much always where you would expect it lol :D.

  • I really enjoyed it myself. Just wish it had been a little longer.

Now all I can think about is when Ep.3 will be out :(
