Thank you! I was missing #8 in Affection.
  • edited November 2008
Well, the list is now complete. (I think.)
  • edited November 2008
Yep, that's all folks. Heres the completed scorecard and costume.

    P.S.
You get a Limozeen Shirt for achieving the highest rank... Also, I got this weird bug which made strong bad "Too awesome to lose" in the Limozeen game (Basically giving him infinite lives). With the cheat, scoring 50,000 points (and topping off your awesomeness) was a walk in the park. (Don't know if it was intentional or not, since no one has been able to replicate it.)

Heh. I was just about to post the same thing. Very Metal!
  • edited November 2008
    Hey, I own that shirt!

By the way, I did all the ones up top and I wasn't invincible.
  • edited November 2008
A shirt?! Oh man, that's not fair! I wanted that cool German Hat..:(

Ditto that. I got all of the "ones up top" and didn't get invincibility or infinite lives. After I got 50k, I got the highest rank and the 'Zeen shirt, but still not invincible. Are you sure you don't need to get an even crazier score (75k? 100k?) in HBO or something else?

Or is it wearing that costume that does it?
Edit: No, I don't think that costume does it, either.
  • edited November 2008
I don't think the clothing would make a difference. I was hoping to get something funny out of Strong Sad wearing the sloshy shirt, but alas, nothing.
  • edited November 2008
The invincible cheat is not as obvious as you would think... Once you lose both lives it just keeps going, and you never get a "Game over" it just keeps going till you quit.

(Either that or its a bug with my Save Game, I dunno.)

EDIT: Yeah, just a bug... It only worked once.

Also, I am writing my "did you try" list right now as we speak. But I am going to wait till after the official awesomeness guide is posted before I put it up.

When do you talk to Coach Z after sabotaging the Two-O-Duo? In Extended Play? Normal Play? Which place?

    Nevermind, did that...

    Extended play.

Yeah, I tried that. When I died thrice, my game was over.
  • edited November 2008
Huh, intresting... I guess it must have been a glitch, oh well.

(I wonder what caused it... Or if I could get it to happen again )
  • edited November 2008
Also, yeah. Tried the Limozeen thing. Didn't work me either.

Actually you can do it in both, but Bubs will pop in during extended play.

WTC?!?! I sabotaged the Two-o-Duo, I talk to Coach Z, and he says
nothing, and it DOESN'T COUNT UP ON MY EXPRESSION AFFECTION LIST!!!!!!!

edit: sorry. I didn't refresh, and you just covered that.

edit edit: NOW WTC?!?!:mad::mad::mad::mad:!!!!! I completed
every awesomeness rank BUT Limozeen's game, and it won't let me
    have invincible amounts of lives!!!!!!

Yeah, Extended Play on that one.

I think you can also get this one by talking to Coach Z at the PomStar stage after the Two-O-Duo breakup, but only before breaking up PomStar. (Afterwards he just comments on his displeasure.)

Can you help me w/ my current problem?

It was a bug... specific to me, sorry about that. (and for getting everyones hopes up :( )

Post your Save Files link so we can end this terror!

    I was just thinkin'...
Infinite lives would take the fun out of it, I'm kinda glad that it was just a glitch. But if those dumb Videlectrix guys made it so that your missiles reloaded when each new level starts as a "cheat", it would kick just a little bit more ass.
And yes, No one likes Nebulon's style.
    Rock and Roll baby...

Turns out (as far as I can tell) that each of the Mini Glasses is specifically placed, instead of awarded in order like the Manual pages.
  • edited November 2008
    Huh, check this out...

I knew I saw that Limozeen shirt and headband before, they were in episode one!

    Anyone remember this scene? ;)

    Ah, good eye!

(Heh. I didn't intend for that to be a pun when I typed it.)

Edit: Oh, and I added the mysterious hidden shirt to the first post. Not really sure if it belongs here, since it doesn't contribute to Awesomeness, but whatever.

We posted up the official Baddest of the Bands awesomeness guide a little bit ago. You guys already found most of this stuff in the thread; I think there's only one minor correction:
You need 45,000 points to max out Limozeen:HBO, not 50,000

Dude, thanks for gettin' all my lists in order, I figured putting them in separate threads would make them easier to keep track of, but it was starting to get difficult differentiating glitches, misguided ppl, and bonified actual expressions of affection or musical moments or whatever and this gets them finally organized in a complete list.

I guess that time I scored just over 48000 points and was sooo frustrated was even more ridiculous because I just assumed it wasn't enough based on what I'd read elsewhere. Duh.

    Dang, man. That's rough.
How much more did you play before you broke 50?

Edit: I think I may have contributed to the 50k rule, my bad.

Maybe another couple of rounds. I'd started to get into the groove of it by that point.
  • edited November 2008
Yeah, playing these types of arcade games is a lot like doing a dance... after a while you just get into a "groove"

(or till you use a bug/cheat to win)

Of course with real arcade games, they cost 25 cents per turn, they get expensive, you are never able to keep that blasted high score. After a while you realize that a "girlfriend" is a hell of a lot cheaper to keep...

    Ill stop talking now.
  • edited November 2008
Good point. I think that one redeeming quality of HBO is that once your up in the levels, you can kiss a groove goodbye. Its just a little too fast to be boring. Its reaching that point that makes the game not-so-replayable.

On a side note: If you were to unplug an arcade cabinet, would the high scores erase? Like that one Seinfeld episode with Frogger? Or is it non-volatile, or have a standby battery?

    Just out of sheer curiosity....

Edit: I was going to say something about quarter slugs and the price of arcade games, but I cant find any sites to buy them! I guess selling counterfeit coins is a bit of a no-no. I know that washers still work on some gumball machines.

Dangerzone, that photo booth pic with the microphone background and rocker gear is maybe my favorite costume/background combo out of all the episodes. That's epic.
  • edited November 2008
    Thanks, I try.

Wait, even out of episodes 4 and 5 too!? (So, no explosion background to wear the dangeresque shades in front of??? I feel so used!)

Lucky razza frazzin... Anyway, got a question. I just got 100%, and the Limozeen shirt, and Strong Bad didn't say anything. Did that happen in anybody else's game? Cause I got 100% twice, and he didn't say anything. I just find that weird.

There might be an explosion in the episode 4 backdrops. I can neither confirm nor deny! I was referring to pictures posted so far by players. :)
  • edited November 2008
Oh please please pleaaase, let there be an explosion backdrop.

Hmm, most bizarre. I achieved the rank of "Impossibly Rocked Out" in Episode 3: Baddest of the Bands, but didn't receive my complimentary Limozeen T-Shirt. I don't think that I missed anything, seeing as everything on the chart is green, and my Limozeen: Hot Babelien Odyssey score is over 60,000. I must have broken the game. If so, I did it with love.
