If anybody knows anything about the comic can you answer two questions for me?

Is Crane alive in the comics?

Is the Headless Horseman ever in the comics?

    Crane was alive in the comics but he died in Fables #22 as he got his head smashed in by Bigby

    As for the Headless Horseman no i don't believe he did appear in the comics.

    I'd also like to add that issue 22 is a prequel to issue 1. Mostly to get used to everyone is my guess.

    Because after Crane left Fabletown he moved to France and became an agent for the adversary.
