Offline achievements

So do achievements not unlock while playing offline? Finished the first two episodes and nada. Even after then logging on and accessing my save file in episode 3, it failed to update achievements for first two episodes...

Is this just a bug on my part, or just how it is?

EDIT: I'm talking about the offline STEAM version.

Yep. You can't get achievements unless you play Online.
