I have discovered a bug with the bottle breaker. This happened after i had shot the cannon many times, but when i did , the glassblower hadn't put the bottle breaker on the table yet. If you try to pick up the bottle breaker, Guybrush says there is a 3 headed monkey, but the glassblower doesn't let you take the bottle breaker. But if you use the bottle on the bottle breaker , he will call out the 3 headed monkey, attempt to pick up the breaker and get caught , but then you see guybrush use the breaker to break the bottle , while the bottle breaker is still on the table. So after i broke the bottle this way , i proceeded ahead, and only once i had found the crystal nose , that i went and shot the cannon to really grab the bottle breaker.

I'm assuming i was suppose to get the bottle breaker this way, then combien with bottle to break it?

    I had a similar problem with this item.

    I got the pirate glassblower to set the bottle breaker down and attempted to grab it two or three times. Then I used the unbreakable bottle with the bottle breaker when it was sitting on the table. Guybrush got caught but then he used the bottle breaker and I got the map inside of it. I then proceeded to use the cannonball to get the pirate glassblower to go away and retrieved the bottle breaker.

    This seemed out of order.

    I had a different glith involving the same item.

    I tried to use the bottle on the bottle breaker while the bottle breaker was still on the table. The guy said, no you can't have it, but afterwards it still played the animation of Guybrush trying to open the bottle with the bottle breaker. At that point, it didn't work because Guybrush's cursed hand wasn't cooperating. The funny thing was, while it showed Guybrush trying to open the bottle with the breaker in his hand, a second bottle breaker was STILL on the table!

    But the duplicate item showed me it was a glitch, and I continued on to get the breaker the way you're supposed to get it.

    Same, I had this one as well. I'm glad it didn't mess up my game though, all I had to do was leave the screen and the floating second bottle opener disappeared.
