No start menu shortcut

edited July 2009 in Tales of Monkey Island
Was wondering if this happend to anyone else? After I installed the game I went to check my Telltale folder under the start menu but there was no folder for it there. I installed it unchecking the create desktop shortcut box. So to play it I had to go and find it in my program files folder. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with the desktop shortcut checked but that didn't work either.

Why not just create a shortcut and put it on the desktop or in the start menu?

They seemed to have moved over to Vista's way of thinking, and your game has to be accessed through the 'Games' menu.

I'm using XP and it created the start menu shortcut just fine for me.

Yeah I'm on Vista. I checked the games folder too and it's not in there either. So for now I created my own "Tales of Monkey Island" folder in the Telltale start menu.

Huh. It IS in the Games folder and not my Telltale folder. Weird. I never noticed because I tend to just drop the Telltale episode that I'm playing currently on the Desktop until I'm done.
