Xbox 360 Season Pass not letting me download the game

Help!

I paid 19.99 to get a season pass on 10/15. I was quite surprised to find out that I can only play the trial. It is a mystery as to why I cannot download and play Episode 1.

I made sure that the transaction was processed by Xbox Live. I checked that funds were disbursed to Telltale. I deleted the season pass and re-downloaded it. Nothing is working. The game front end insists that I pay another $5 to purchase Episode 1. Why?

I searched for my issue and read the forums. Apparently I am the only one with this problem.

What is it I am missing?

    The game costs $25 total. The $5 is for the first episode, and then the $20 is for the season pass for the rest of the episodes. The reason why it works this way is because on consoles, phones, and tablets, the first episode acts as the main game, and the rest of the episodes act as DLC. Since you didn't purchase the base game and only purchased the DLC, the game still runs in trial mode.
