You know, I just got done finishing up Batman Arkham Asylum, great game.
Now, I'm going into Arkham City, and you know, I kind of feel like this game gets a bit too much flak, yeah sure it's still praised when it comes to gameplay, but people dog pile on the story of this game like it's the worst thing ever, calling it abysmal, terrible, and saying it has zero depth, which I really think people are just missing the mark, especially since City has more interesting things going on than Asylum's story, which was just, "evil supervillan takes over super-prison, and the hero has to stop him."
I don't know, I think people just like things they can easily understand the first time rather than actually immersing themselves into the narrative.
