I don't know, it seemed to lack closure

I really loved this game, but I felt a bit unsatisfied with the ending. We just see Fiona and Rhys disappearing, and there weren't any final scenes with the other character. Really, the thing is I got so invested in the amazingly cute and precious relationship (oooooh, so that's where "shipping" comes form...) between Sasha and Rhys that that become the primary thing I wanted to see resolved, and seeing Fiano and Rhys just disappear makes me a bit sad. I was really hoping for a final scene that shows what happens between and to the different characters, and not just this melancholy ending where they might well not see each other again. I even waited for the credits to roll, to see if they put anything at the end.

The last time I felt like this was when I finished "Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons".

  • That was probably intended, though. Rhys and Fiona's disappearing would make for a decent Season 2 sequel-hook. I won't argue about the lack of closure because I kind of agree with you in that regard, but if Season 2 ends up being just a pipe-dream, then they have a conclusive-enough ending to fall back on.

  • I really liked the ending. I feel like it did a good job messing with people, I mean watching lets plays, everyone seems to have the same reaction of "What, are they not going to show it?" and then the realization that they are gone

  • Well, if there's a season 2 I guess it'll probably fix it for me, but I'm kind of doubtful that there will be.

  • At first I tried to write it off as them returning to the rest of the team...

Yeah, the cliffhanger was wierd but I liked the whole ending. The most enjoyable ending of a Telltale Game, is it?

  • I thought it was the point, meaning the ending could be open ended. You can either think that they teleported back or something and etc. Or they will make a season 2. Wolf Among Us ended the same way, that it can have a sequel or it won't.

  • I disliked the ending.

  • i want season 2 to begin in the vault and use season ones choices like twd did

  • Мне понравилась эта концовка, если это намёк на 2 сезон :) !

  • Couldn't agree more!

The most enjoyable Telltale game, to me.

  • I thought it was great simply because it leaves it completely open for a second season. Did the vault teleport them somewhere? Will it show them some sort of vison? Or was the treasure inside just really really shiny? So much is left to our imagination, but i do agree with you in a way, i really wish we got one last scene with Sasha and Rhys because i loved that relationship, but as i said if they confirm that we will eventually get a season 2, then i wont mind too much :) There will just be something to really look forward to.

  • If there isn't a S2, then Borderlands 3 will probably pick up where S1 left off, at least as a side mission.

  • AHHH so it begins

  • The Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2 as well as The Wolf Among Us didn't really have closure to their endings so I didn't really expect there to be closure nor would I want it. With closure comes finality and that's something I don't want at all with any of these three series. Even though a Wolf sequel is looking pretty grim... =(

  • Ты в адеквате?
