Season 2 Predictions?

edited November 2015 in Game Of Thrones

Now that they are hinting for Season 2, what do you guys think will happen to the Foresters? What will happen to the North Grove? Who will win the war? How will the determine characters play their part in the story? Or will there be another story about another house ( hopefully NOT)?

EDIT: Now that Telltale co-founder has confirmed there is a Season 2, what do you think will happens? In his article, he said " Remember, The North Grove must never be lost."

  • I think the Forrester history is done. They've lost, and it's natural, since they are loyal Stark bannerman. I don't think I would like playing as them again. After all, my Mira is dead :'(

  • For me , their story just begun. In the end, my traitor, Royland helped me and said " They may have won this battle, but we won't let them win this war." Yes Mira died , but you can't just leave this series unanswered. What happens to Gared and the North Grove? What happens to Asher/Rodrik? It will just be a dissapointment leaving it there

  • I wouldn't mind playing the surviving forresters in a season 2. I would like to finish their story.

What else is there? When we get a army it's just killed in our watch. Glenmores and pit fighters. Will it be different with Gared and that cursed army? Whitehill have the Boltons protection. No matter what the Forresters will do not, they cannot win. Malcom is with Daenerys, who will not be at Westeros for a LOOONG time. Mira is dead or in a prison marriage, where she don't have a say in anything, so we can't play as her or influence the history. Asher/Rodrik is half dead with no army, and Beskha is alone with Ryon. They can't take the Whitehills down.

With that in mind, I would rather plar as a southern house or some plot at Essos. Like, in Valyria or Braavos. Something like that.

  • It would make sense to play as the forrestors. It would be just plain dumb to play as another house. I mean come on now.

  • We'll just have to wait and see

  • The bad writing will continue, and I don't want to encourage/support it. I'll wait for a season 2 of twau or tales but not this one... Unless it's free with the season 1 season pass

  • I know how you feel, but I know there is NO way it will be free with the season 1 pass

  • There won't be a Season 2 and on the rare chance there is - Elaena is 100% dead.

  • I learned from the show and books not to expect a happy ending in Game of Thrones. But I can't help but wish there would've been a way to kill both Ludd and Gryff Whitehill. And that b***h Gwyn too! I'm sure there'll be more Forrester Vs Whitehill in season 2, but with Ironrath gone, the Forresters with no allies, and the Whitehills having control of the ironwood Ramsay will probably start backing the Whitehills again. With any luck perhaps we could meet up with Stannis, and join what strength we can muster to his. Take out the Whitehills before he storms Winterfell.

As for the North Grove I will imagine whether or not Gared chose to lead his forces south he'll be forced to retreat back to the grove with the Snows, and Sylvi. Probably having to do with more decisions about Blood Magic. Spoiler alert! I sacrificed Cotter. He was going to die anyways, and I don't think he cared how, but I draw the line at Sylvi! I'll stab both those Snows in the back before I let them have Sylvi!

Season one of the tv show ended with the bad guys on the rise. Ned Stark was dead, Rob only had about 25k men, and Jofferey and Cercei weren't going anywhere anytime soon. But Season 2 had the fan favorite blasting half of Stannis' army to smitherines, Theon was taken down at Winterfell, and Dany was taking Qarth. So if season 2 of the game goes as well with the show as season 1 of the game did I think we can expect better results.

Honestly I wouldn't mind a second house, especially if we could get a better look at house Glennmore, but we do still need Forresters.

  • Bashka takes Ryon across the narrow sea to Bravos where he learns how to fight from Arya and agrees this house stuff doesn't matter, there are people who deserve to die that need killing.

  • Hmm it will be interesting to have Arya part of the story

  • If there is going to be a season 2.. Man its gonna be interesting. So many different ending combos for Asher/Rodrik, and people have very different opinions on everyone involved in them.. Dis gon be gud

  • I do think it will be different with Gared's army. Considering all of Season 1 was spent with Gared having one goal in mind, to get to the north grove, it wasn't about the end of Season 1. It was about what he could use it for in Season 2. I do agree though, that most all of them have no way of helping. Malcolm's story will be interesting, but I don't know how it will affect everything else. Mira in the prison marriage sounded like she would be back in the ruins of Ironrath. She could wrap up the story with the Whitehills. Rodrik-Asher is half dead, true, but I can see him realistically coming back. They'll find some way to get an army. And Beskha alone with Ryon has the most potential for story. She could be trying to keep him safe from everything, considering he's their one true assurance that House Forrester will survive should anything happen to Rodrik-Asher. Yet the only one out of all of them with a solid grip on what they're doing is Gared. He's got a real chance to fuck shit up with the Whitehills. Plus, I just really want to see Josera and Elsera react with the other Forrester children.

What else is there? When we get a army it's just killed in our watch. Glenmores and pit fighters. Will it be different with Gared and that c

  • You're wrong. I predict 3 or 4 seasons of this game and this shit just started. The key to this game is the North Grove. It will be the location from which you rebuild. Also, in case you haven't noticed, Ryon is the primary protagonist. He is a young mind that you are developing through your actions in the first season. He is the future of the house and will take the spotlight in later seasons. He'll be the one to lead. All this shit in the first season is just posturing for the coming seasons. This is how they did The Walking Dead. The first season was an innocent little girl that you couldn't even play. Then she became the primary protagonist of the series.

  • Yeah honestly I really enjoyed this season. It had its ups and downs but I'm looking forward to season 2. So many possibilities can happen with it, and so many variations. Your right, dis gon be gud

  • Asher/Rodrick dies and Ryan is the new lord. I'm assuming they will skip a few years and Ryan will be a little older and is the new playable character, In this case I will not buy, because Asher deserves his revenge!!

  • What do you think will happen when Gwyn and Talia try to help Asher? Do you think he will survive? ( outcome of calling off the plan)

  • Ryon/Beskha will be the "road movie" section of the plot. Just like Jaimie/Brynne, The Hound/Arya etc.

  • There will definitely be a season 2.

  • I think Beskha will play a sort of mentor role for Ryon and a big sister, either Ryon or Beskha will be playable.

I can't wait to see more of the Forrester bastards.

The only people I'm almost certain will be playable are Rodrik/Asher and Gared.

Morgryn will be an antagonist and whether or not he rules Ironrath will be determinant.

Pushing for peace with an dogmatic and bloodthirsty family who wants nothing more than the Forresters to bend to their knees and kiss their feet, and playing the victim card every time the Forresters stand up to them.

She's just as evil, if not incredibly ignorant, for standing by them and expecting the Forresters to let the Whitehill walk all over them without complaint.

Okay, what you said sounded good. I agree the Ryon and Beskha history would be with more potential than the others plots, even more than Rodrik/Asher. I would like to see my brother comeback, but they will die, sadly. They can't have two different characters at the same role.. We can even play as them, but they will die.

Mira, my favorit POV, is out of the history. That why I'm kinda pissed.

And don't like much the Gared plot, to be honest, even though I like him. But it's probably the more important one for all seasons.

Lastly, I wouldn't like a Malcom plot at Essos at all. I mean, if he really stay with Daenerys and all. If he come back to Westeros, could be interesting. After all, he being in Meereen wouldn't help his house and avenge the life of his sister.

  • I think that'd be to big of a time jump. Ryon is what 7? Even if he comes back at say 14 that's a 7 year jump. Might as well be a hundred as far as GoT's is considered now. Telltale wouldn't have the background to set it up correctly. By then there may be an entirely new king, or the North maybe completely taken over by Whitewalkers.

  • I don't think we will see much of the Forresters in the next season. Rodrik / Asher is a too big split, Mira aswell. Malcolm, Gared, Talia, and Ryon remains. But there is also a problem with Gryff/Ludd. I don't know.... Maybe leaving Rodrik/Asher die anyway.. Along with Duncan/Royland/Gwyn. Ah.. It would require master writer to keep integrity and to get rid of these split characters without making it dense (which is a crucial part).

  • Season 2 is confirmed!!! What do you think will happen?

  • Here is some of my predictions:

    1. Imo, all characters had the scene show their death will not appear in the next season, except Rodrik/Asher. And I bet 98% dialogue using for Rodrik can be use for Asher too, they will have a same adventure with the same outcome like TWD 2 :D

    2. There will be an episode allow Rodrik/Asher find out what Morgryn done, and another episode allow them confront Morgryn's hideout. If Mira still live, we will found her be locked in a room and turning dementia.

    3. About the traitor with you at the end, he will die immediately at the very first beginning of episode 1, the reason is to protect you survive another ambush from Whitehill. About Gwyn, in my eyes, she's a bitch nothing more, so let's Telltale decide what to do with her !!!

    4. About Garred, no matter you choose to leave/stay North Grove, you will have a fight with White Walkers and forced to comeback the North Grove If you leave or Ironrath If you stay (That's depend on which direction Telltale want WW appear). There will be a moment you have to choose who you will save, Ysera/Josera or Sylvi. If you performed the ritual blood in season 1 last episode, whom you choose to abandoned will be saved by a warrior, but he/she will be fell to a deep, leaving his/her fate unknown. If you do not performed the ritual blood, the one you abandoned will be killed by a WW.

That's all I have in mind now, will be updated If I can think about something new !!!

Sorry for my bad English !

    1. Gwyn, Talia, and Malcolm will be POV characters.
    2. Even if Gwyn didn't appear in your playthrough, she will still receive blowback from her family for helping the Forresters. Her father/brothers might threaten to marry her off or send her to be a Silent Sister. If Gwyn hates Asher, she will still ultimately be compelled to join him.
    3. If Mira lived, she'll try to help her family, even as Morgryn's slave. If Mira is dead, Sera (now Lady Tarwick?) will try to help them. If Mira betrayed Sera, it will take work to make Sera want to help the Forresters.
    4. Stannis, Davos, and Melisandre will appear.
    5. Beshka will have a separate plotline as the Osha to Ryon's Rickon.
  • I don't think that Beskha will train Ryon. I like Beskha but I think someone else will train Ryon.

  • I really hope that major decisions we made will matter to some degree, most of all:

    • piece of paper from Tyrion will matter
    • aliance with other house
    • North Grove mystery revieled
    • White Walkers will kill everyone
    • Dragons will be awesome.
  • My prediction:

•The North Grove- remember what Elsera said? " That she (Sylvi) will back stab you in the back. Well if you decided to do the blood ritual, she will back stab you. Also if you decided to stay, something will probably go bad, even if you did the blood ritual and you are forced to go south.

    • Kings Landing- it's unlikely to hear about Mira if she's alive.

    • Ironrath- Asher/Ridrick will recover over the gruesome injury with Talia and Duncan/Royland/Gwyn. They'll have to figure out what to now.

•Somewhere else- Beshka and Ryon will be together trying to find their group and Beshka will teach Ryon how to fight back

    What do you guys think????

  • Don't know about Mira.

Considering she no longer is on the main screen if she lives or dies, it means her story is at an end and probably will not be playable.

This means Rodrik/Asher will be playable as well as Gared (only two mains left on the title screen)
