Episode 6 was extremely buggy and then deleted my save file at the end

My Game of Thrones save file was mysteriously deleted (replaced with a save file with no episode played yet) after finishing Episode 6. The episode was already so buggy that it was not enjoyable. Frame rate drops and voices cutting out or clipping during the battle at Ironrath made it completely anticlimactic. But this takes the cake. All the hours I spent playing the game lost. And because I'm playing the game on the PS3 instead of the PC I can't even use someone else's save file. Why can't Telltale properly beta test and fix such game-breaking issues before release? I've purchased and finished all of Telltale's game starting with the Walking Dead and was a huge fan. I even played Tales from the Borderlands despite having never played Borderlands, and enjoyed it tremendously. This just feels like a huge slap in the face and based on a Google search I don't seem to be the only one experiencing such issues.
