Did ********* sacrificed himself?
Im talking about the Maester. I watched a lot of gameplays and Asher/Rodrik always told him to take Talia to a safe place. But in the end, Talia is alive and the Maester is dead.
Do you think he sacrificed himself so Talia could look for Royland or Duncan?

He died read the codex.
Yeah, codex says "he served House Forrester with pride until his death". But not says how. And Talia should be dead too if she was with the maester.
That's the one thing I didn't like about ep 6. They killed him off screen and just wrote he died in the codex
That would make sense.
Hm...I don't know. Maybe I am too hopeful, but I don't believe the Maester is dead unless I see his corpse. Remember, Rodrik's codex after episode 1 also said that he was dead, then he turned out to have survived in episode 2.
