Also, I put all my money on Kate Capsize from MI2 operating under the name Morgan le Flay

Thinking about it, I think it's a new character who's not Morgan La Flay. Guybrush's not looking surprised at being at swordpoint makes me think this sort of thing has happened to him before and often. Maybe somebody has a crush on Guybrush, the way LeChuck has a crush on Elaine, and she's very "aggressive" in her wooing.

I think its madam xima she wants her death cards back.

Nobody in the game world ever had a crush on Guybrush; in fact, everyone found him slightly off-putting, for some reason. I'd like that mystery woman to be Kate, but if it's someone else from Guybrush's past, it's ok with me. Sticking someone completely new into the role and fitting them with a line about long awaited meeting would sound terribly false to me. It's like Telltale would make us to believe it's someone we know and then suddenly, uh, it's a new person...

My guess still is that it's somebody else we don't know yet, maybe from the time before MI1 or in-between games.

It's murray who has been resurrected and actually is a Female Pirate!

...You talk about Kate being angry about being framed, but wasn't she free by the end of LCR? And then does business with you about the glass-bottomed boat?
I guess it depends which order you did things in the game...

Morgan le Flay wouldn't sound disingenuous saying that she's been waiting a long time - Guybrush is pretty (in)famous in a large proportion of the pirating community, and she's a pirate hunter - 'nuff said?

Maybe it's Largo - I mean, he did always have a thing for women's clothing...

Yep, I could have let her free or not

also, i don't recall that Kate ever knew who framed her, in which case she would have no reason to be upset w/ guybrush

True, but she knew he was named Guybrush. It's been awhile....she might have figured it out who Guybrush is by now.

Guybrush does have his own theme restaurant, after all. He's got to be at least relatively famous.
