I think its confirmed as Bruce Wayne.... I personally want to play as Ra's Al Ghul. In the game I really want to see Mister Bloom.
That we will play as batman in a batman game is most likely guaranteed. But personally i want to play as red hood or deathstroke.
I think it would be cool if we got five different playable protagonists.
Yeah, assuming we have multiple playable characters like Game of Thrones, I'd go with Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman and Jim Gordon. If we got a playable villain option, Mr Freeze.

Even though we'll most likely only be playing as Bruce Wayne, I'd love to see Jason Todd as another playable character.
For those who don't know, Jason Todd is the second Robin in the Batman Universe, who later becomes The Red Hood, a super hero who does kinda questionable things. I think he would make for a far more interesting (and believable) PC than Bruce because, as far as I know, it would be very difficult to play as a "Scumbag Batman" as I like to put it. With Jason though, his personality would make sense as to why you'd have the option to let's say kill someone or act like a dick to people.

Given that the title is Batman, of course playing as Batman is a given, but I do wish we get to spend more time playing as Bruce Wayne.
Pretty much all Batman games till now had player playing as Batman most of the time, and not enough as Bruce Wayne (even in recent Arkham series, there's only that opening bit in Arkham City, and the "Cold, cold heart" DLC in Arkham Origins.
If we're assuming this is Batman's early years (so no Robin,/Nightwing, Batgirl yet), then another playable characters I would like to see would be Commissioner Gordon, Catwoman.
But if we're talking Batman in his prime, then the list would extend to Robin/Nightwing, Batgirl as well.
I only want to play as Catwoman!So I hope she is playable,so I can buy/play this game. lol

Definitely Batman, but it would be cool to play as side characters for a tiny bit in the game. Kinda like the Arkham series. Variety is so important.
Renee Montoya would be very cool. One of the many Robins would be cool. One of the Batgirls would be cool. Jim Gordon would be cool. Batwoman would be cool. Practically any major villain would be cool, too.
Really, the possibilities are endless. It's probably going to be Batman but I hope for something a little more creative. But there are many ways to feature Batman as the playable character and still be creative, so the point is kind of moot?
If the story is good, the gameplay is fun, and the experience is a positive one, I'm really fine with any character.
I would hope we get to see dick Grayson as robin and Barbara Gordon as batgirl and they should be playable characters and have a part in the story as well. We should also be able to free roam as different characters as well not just batman .

Alfred so I can get some intense quick time house cleaning action. Dusting shelves, folding shirts, and preparing meals with each mistake leading to great misfortune. God help you if you forget to put cheese on Bruce's sandwiches...God help you....
A teen-age batman like from the animated Batman Beyond series mainly because that was the best suit imo and they could have old Bruce as our mentor

Honestly Batman is my least favourite member of the Bat-Family, so anyone else would be a blessing.

How about an emotional story of Harley Quinn when she first meets The Joker and how they fight justice together?

It'd be so cool to have the series start with Batman dying and then we get to play as varying members of the Bat-Family. We could have an intense power struggle after Batman dies that makes Nightwing head to Gotham, makes Jason Todd come out of recovery from his intense meetings with the Joker, Tim dusts of the Red Robin suit, possibly Damian Wayne can pick up the Robin suit, Barbra Gordon boots up the bat computer, and Stephanie Brown can be Batgirl.

Gotta admit, for an animated character, Talia al Ghul is pretty hot!
If the game is titled Batman, then I think it should be Batman whose playable, or perhaps do a 2 sides story kind of like with Tales from the Borderlands, except one is Batman and the other is a Villain. Kind of like what they did with LEGO Batman: The Video Game.

Yeah, let´s play as Talia, that useful character that did nothing since creation and still does nothing. When the highlight of your character is "she raped Batman in Paris" you know you have a great character in your hands.
