Choppy Demo

I just installed the "Trials of Monkey Island" demo, and it's not playing very well.

I made sure to have Direct X (the latest version) properly installed, and I looked at my system to make sure I fit the requirements as well.

The info:

Processor: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz
Memory: 3.00
System Type: 64 Bit Operating System (Vista)

Is this not good enough or is there something else I can do so that everything isn't so choppy during the sequences? Thanks.

First thing, if you can get into the game, go into the settings and turn graphic quality down to 1. You might have a generic intel card in your PC, your CPU is pretty decent, but you should check your RAM and graphics card. Most computers you can buy prebuilt come with a bad graphics card because they're not meant for playing games.

Doesn't hurt to check though -

Go to Start -> Run -> Type 'dxdiag'
    Look for Memory: ??MB RAM
Click the display tab on the dxdiag window, the device part will tell you your graphics card.

Let us know and we can probably help you if turning the quality down didn't help.

You should be good to go, did you try turning down the graphic quality in the settings? If that doesn't help, try lower the resolution and pressing apply.

That's a low end onboard card. He should not be good to go.

The files for the demo and the files for the full version are exactly the same. The only difference is that you input your serial key and the demo unlocks itself to become the full version. No additional files are downloaded or changed.
