If they made superman as the villain they'd just prove the people who said that this was some cheap advertising for the new movie right.
Um, if you mean for the game, I think it will be a stand alone type deal.
The trailer is obviously based on a comic theme, maybe even more than Wolf Among Us, and Super Hero comic books are easy to just make a "new story" that doesnt need to be connected to anything.
