My choices got changed?
So I tried doing a playthrough where NONE of the vault hunters were available to choose but I still got Athena, August, and Zer0. I was a massive dick to August (shot him and blamed him for the deal), never told anyone I was a vault hunter, and stole Athena's shield and didn't tell Springs that she loves her. However, when I got to the vault hunter select screen, the game reversed all of those choices. It just seems that the game can't continue on without at least 3 vault hunters. Anyone had this happen to them?

Athena and August are always available to come with you (although it says different things for the two of them, like you were consistently badass to August or you learned quickly under Athena), Zer0 just unlocks when you manage to lock out everyone else.
