Problem with graphics
Hi !
I have a GeForce TI 4200 graphic card.
When i run the game, the graphic is screwed !
Most of the details are black and because of that not visable (i saw the game on another computer so i know how it should look like!).
for example in the main menu i don't see anything but the writings (new game/ quit / etc ....) !
any suggestions ... ?

Can you enter the settings and a) reduce the resolution and b) set gfx quality to the lowest setting?
As far as i remember the minimum specs match with what you're having. If the card is up to it and the drivers are working, pray that you don't own an Intel chip, such issues often arise due to a lack of video memory.
This, I'm afraid.
Actually before doing that try following:
a) upgrade your drivers to the latest possible
b) reduce the settings level to 1 and to a low resolution
(Sometimes there are hacked drivers out there which work better than
the offical ones for really old cards)
The TI4200 is old but it still is better than the average intel chip found in most modern notebooks.
The main problem I see in your case is if nothing helps the card still is AGP I assume, nowadays AGP cards are hard to come by, while graphics cards are cheap (you can get a decent one for 50$) getting an AGP one is neither cheap nor easy and replacing the entire logic board processor and ram is expensive. (not as expensive as buying a console though)
Exactly. Even if it would work, it would be slow as hell. As far as i see it also doesn't support the required DirectX 8.1 but only 8.0.
But speed is the much bigger issue here.
Since your system is quite old you could ask friends for AGP Graphics Cards they don't need anymore and test them, before you go and buy a new one.
