Gared: Honorable, unless i’m dealing with Britt.
Ethan: Trying to be strong, almost to the point of ruthless.
Mira: As cunning as poss… moreible while still being honorable (died in the end).
Asher: Smart-mouth, hasty in tough situations.
Rodrik: The honorable lord who is unbent, unbound, but still very broken.
Your title makes me think of a quote from Rhys, "Because we're freaking team awesome -- and August."
Anyway I just kind of played the, as how I'd react, I don't really ever try to think in a different mindset.
Gared: Honorable to a fault
Mira: Strong, determined, loyal (Sera > family > Margaery)
Ethan: Bold, defending Forrester honor
Rodrick: Brave, insolent, despising the Whitehills
Asher: Family-oriented, thinking of the family first.
The only decision I kind of regret is letting Bowen die - I saw "warn Lord Forrester" and clicked it immediately without reading the other option. Oops. Oh well. Shit happens.
Rodrik: Played him as a smart guy that loses his judgement when he gets the upper hand.
Asher: Made him- Basically made him a violent comedian. A reckless, impulsive comedian.
Mira: Made sure she was loyal to the people who helped her (Sera and Tom) and made her as manipulative as she could be.
Ethan: Played him as the merciful lord because at the time I wanted to act all nicey nice then to ruffle the Whitehills feathers. I mean it didn't work but I felt it fit Ethan.
Gared: Tried to make him as honourable as he could be, as loyal as he could be and as someone who would do anything to protect the North Grove.
Rodrik: Tough as nails, and honourable, but prideful and stubborn. He walked without Talia's assistance in Episode 2, then refused to kiss Ludd's ring, and stood up to Gryff Whitehill. However he also showed him mercy, and did everything in his power to rescue Ryon from Highpoint. He's still going strong along with his Sentinel, I'm pleased to say.
Asher: Roguish and loyal to a fault, I played Asher as being entirely devoted to his family, he saved Malcolm over Beskha, but later redeemed himself as he let her kill her Master, he saved Rodrik's life at the cost of his own, and throughout it all, kept a sharp wit that made him distinct from the other Forresters.
Mira: I made her walk the line between being deeply honourable, and doing all it took to help her family. She always helped Sera, where she could, and tried to remain loyal to Margaery, despite drifting astray by telling Tyrion the truth, and talking to him at the Wedding, In the end, she spurred Morgryn's offer, hoping her death would keep her family safe from him.
Ethan: Played him as the young, innocent lord that he is, however one that is desperate to show strength, as is expected. He chose Royland Degore as his Sentinel, and sentenced Erik the Thief to lose his fingers, before carrying out the deed himself in the way of the North. Like Ramsay says in the choice section of Episode 6, "A shame he didn't last longer..."
Gared: I played as the most genuine, and nice of all characters, honourable too, but he's no push-over. He slaughtered both Whitehills in Episode 1, punched Finn first in Episode 2, however he refused to attack Britt first and, when they fought, he even gave him back his sword. "Take it," he said, "when you die, I want you to know you weren't good enough!" Though he later walked away, to be the bigger man, and stay true to his vows and promise to Jon Snow. In the end, he left the North Grove, after all, he only travelled there as it seemed best for House Forrester, but now it seemed to him, best to return. Hopefully he'll be cool with Rodrik killing his Uncle.
Gared: honorable and kind, but with a terrible temper for those who wrong him.
Mira: completely out of her depth in King's Landing, but she ultimately showed her true northern nature by bravely dying to keep her family and home safe.
Ethan: a personable and merciful lord who tried his best in an impossible situation.
Rodrik: a wounded soldier trying to prove he's still a man... as the Whitehills continued to antagonize him, his anger grew and his honor and common sense slowly disappeared. He ultimately redeemed himself by saving Asher.
Asher: the true lord of House Forrester. He started out as impulsive and lighthearted, but was a shrewd and serious military leader by the time he returned to Westeros. Secured loyalty from all of his friends and soldiers, and scared the piss out of Ludd before killing Gryff.
The same way I play in every Telltale game: I always am nice to my friends and family, I never show mercy to my enemies, and I never break a promise to my friends and family. Never.
Rodrik: Full of Anger, and showed little mercy towards anybody who opposed against him and his family. When war came, he gave no fucks anymore. He won't show symbolism anymore.
Asher: Always wanted to return home to his family, was willing to do anything to help his family, when the time came, he made the ultimate sacrifice which costed his life
Mira : The only thing she cared about was survival and helping her family from a long distance, and she did a little but in the end things went bitter for her and she sold her family's house to keep her head in hopes of playing the game again
Gared: Did everything Gregor told him to do, he is very caring and was willing to forgive anybody even Britt. In the end he went back south in hopes of saving Ironrath in time. But little did he know that it had already fallen.
Gared: Good and tough guy, never broke a promise and always stood up for his friends
Ethan: Brave and nice, sadly we only played him one episode
Mira: At first I wanted her to be nice but in King's Landing she would have been destroyed, so I end the game with her being manipulative and cruel, doing anything to survive and help her family
Rodrik: Brave and inteligent, the most important thing for him was his family.
Asher: My favorite, a charming and sarcastic guy, always stood up for Beshka and his family, I make him a bit jealous of Rodrik with the dialogue "My brother was everything I am not". and at the end he tried to get peace with the Whitehills because he didn't wanted anyone else dead.
Gared: I played Gared as the most passionate and honorable character. No matter what he never killed anyone if there was another way. I also played Gared really confident in his skills. He didn't brag but he didn't shy away from saying what he was good at. The Forresters were always the most important to him in the story. As the story dragged on Gared slowly became more aggressive and impatient. "My family back home is counting on me put things right, and I mean to do it. Vows aren't going to stop me"
Ethan: I played Ethan as smart and level headed, always keeping his cool. It was almost impossible to provoke him. He also knew he had to show strength and justice, so he took Erik's fingers himself. But I also played Ethan as moral, he didn't want to be Lord and he hated doing that to Erik. "I may be young but I'm not so easily fooled. You're trying to rile me, but it won't work"
Mira: Unlike the rest of the Forresters Mira wasn't bound by a code of honor. She did whatever it took to survive and help her family. She appeared as a friend to everyone around her, smiling, making ally's, and manipulating. Though loyalty was important to her. Mira always stood by Sera, unfortunately a time came when she had to choose between surviving and preserving her family's legacy over Tom. She did care deeply about Tom though and will probably regret not standing by him for the rest of her life. On a more fun side I played Mira as playful and flirtatious. "Your family needs you, nothing else matters. I'd do whatever it takes to survive. Whatever it takes..."
Asher: I played Asher as impulsive and angry, he doesn't hesitate, he acts. Loyalty means the most to him. Every single chance he always stood by Beskha. He was also really moral and always wanted to do right thing. Another thing with Asher is that he wants to be a hero. He was very confident as well as stubborn, he never let anyone tell him what to do. Certain things change about him when Rodrik dies and he becomes Lord. It hardens him and becomes more depressed. It makes him do things he wouldn't normally do. He betrayed the love of his life and will forever regret doing so. "Fight with me and it won't just be for sport. You'll fight for a higher purpose. To save innocents and murder the guilty!"
Rodrik: Rodrik was dutiful and strong. He never bowed down to anyone despite his injuries. He was defiant and angry. But he was also honorable and loyal. He didn't lay a hand on Gryff and said he wasn't like him. Rodrik was also stubborn and had a bad habit of carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. He wouldn't let his friends and family help him and blamed himself when they suffered. "You know what they did to me at the twins? Shred my face, put their swords through me, tried to smash my skull open, but they couldn't kill me, and you're not the man to finish the job!"
Mira: I really want to get hers off my chest. I remained loyal to both Lady Margery(sp) and Sera, instead of the Crown. That is until Telltale decided that I couldn't anymore. I wanted to stay with them and tbh Mira's story really fucked me up. So much shit happened to her and she had to hide and get around so much. I honestly think she should have gotten some type of justice? The poor thing. Throughout the whole season, she didn't even get to see her family, nor did she know most of what was going on. I liked the idea of the Coal Boy, because he seemed like a trustworthy friend. I mean, of course Sera was, too, but so much was tied to her that didn't really benefit Mira.
As far as everyone else, I made most of them loyal asf. I can't really think of what to say with them. I'm drained. lmao playing this game from hours on end has weighed me down.

Interesting perspective on Ethan; the child lord with something to prove. I like it.
Nice callback I wish I could admit I had that in mind. Oh so clever I would be.
But I assume most did the same. I at least did that my first play through.
I just played whatever felt right.
