Loading Page Issues

I have only just downloaded the game, deleted and reinstalled. Every time I open the game it presents me with a loading image, with the dots flickering away, that is for couple of seconds until the screen, mouse, and keyboard freeze altogether. I have tried several different things now, and I just want to play the game already! Please help.
