Day of the Tentacle
The Longest Journey
Dreamfall (less adventure and inferior to TLJ, but enjoyed continuing the lovely story)
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Sam and Max Hit the Road
Full Throttle
I'm still waiting for the Longest Journey saga to continue. Bring on the Dreamfall chapters (and the true TLJ sequel) already!
1. Little Big Adventure 1 (It's an action adventure, but it has one of the most imaginative stories I've played)
2. Grim Fandango
3. Day of the Tentacle
4. Broken Sword 1
5. Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis
I never really got into the others in such a big way as I did Monkey Island and the above.
Monkey Island is the only series I've played. I was given Wallace and Gromit free with the Tales of Monkey Island Complete Pack, so I will probably try that, and if I like it as much as I enjoyed Tales 1, I will probably go ahead and buy the rest of the games by Telltale.
The Space Quest series. SQ4 is the best. Lots of others. Conquests of Camelot/Longbow, King's Quest, Police Quest, Prisoner of Ice, Star Trek 25th/Judgement Rites/Final Unity/Hidden Evil, Altered Destiny, the LA games of course....lots.
I'm starting to think I am the only person who ever purchased and absolutely adored The Last Express. It is, arguably, my favorite game in the nearly thirty-years I've been adventuring.
Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade
Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis
Maniac Mansion
Day Of The Tentacle
Everything Sam & Max

What? It keeps me from getting bored at work every day...
Zak mckracken is my all time nr.2 in adventure games.
I think it's because I have a fantastic memory from when I and a mate played throuh it the first time. This was the first adventure game I (we) played from start to finish without any help or hints, and the satisfaction we felt when we made it is indescribable.
Errr... you need to change disc for one, and you don't need to for the other?
Well... I was talking about differences beyond those obviously related to the medium, like better graphics, sound or any other bonus content. Guess not.
my favourites have allways been Day of the tentacle and Sam and Max.
DOTT has been my first PC Game ever! Closely followed by Sam and Max!
I've Played Monkey Island much later. But I loved it as well
Bladerunner was great. Superb graphics for that time.
Also remember Darkseed. Superb horror.
By far not as old as most of the other games mentioned here And yes it was good but unfortunately the last one Westwood made before they got eaten up by EA and turned into a Command and Conquer factory.
Got the Spanish versions of Runaway 1+2 and Grim Fandango (rerelease) for 10€ total, looking good so far. I'm getting an annoying glitch in Grim where Manny's voice won't come out and the dialog won't finish ever unless I press the period key... I have to restart the game after such glitches.
So.. I'm a guy who's played pretty much all of the LucasArts adventures. Could you guys suggest something?
Oh, and I don't mind old graphics. I love gigantic pixels(No really).

Grim Fandango
Err... That's it, I guess.
Play Discworld, and know the true pain of "That doesn't work".
Grim Fandango is my favourite game. Much better than any of the Monkey Islands.
Discworld games were fun, Noir was amazing (if you got it to work)
I hate Broken Sword games. They look nice but the characters are boring (Stobbart), annoying (his girl), don't interest me and you can get killed or stuck and have to restart!
the monkey island series closely followed by gabriel knight and phantasmagoria series, after that would be sam and max hit the road, day of the tentacle - indiana jones and the fate of atlantis, the tex murphy series and simon the sorcerer 1 and 2. there the 1s i've really enjoyed. Never got into most of the sierra games.
LOOM!
Grim Fandango would be up there... along with Sam and Max hit the road.
Sanitarium is amazing, seriously awesome... and um... that's where I get stumped. I mean, I love so many adventure games but picking a front runner is hard. I'd have to stick with the Lucasarts ones because honestly? Not being able to die is a freaking godsend for a gamer who just wants to play a game and NOT BE PUNISHED. It's what put me off so many Sierra games. I enjoyed Gabriel Knight sure, but damn I got sick of dying because my reactions weren't fast enough to click a switch or I couldn't find the right exact pixel. Grrr.
I really enjoyed Beneath a steel sky, which was mentioned earlier by someone else heh. The robot was awesome, I love snarky sidekicks.
Speaking of adventure games... I really should play Siberia, Phantasmagoria and Broken sword 2 lol... i'm LAZY.
Oh, and Callahan's Crosstime Saloon! That game totally deserves more props. I miss games having that much detail crammed in. Almost everything you could click on had a joke or a story to it. Hotspots make things easier, sure, but they also mean I can't look at that knick-knack or that bird or this brick wall or that et cetera over there, which makes me sad.
Play Discworld, and know the true pain of "That doesn't work".
i think discworld allmost put me off the entire genre. how anoying was "that doesn't work" and i think i encountered a bug right at the end that prevented me from finishing it for ages!
as for a suggestion gabriel knight games rock. the first 1 for huge pixels the 2nd 1 for fmv and he third 1 for 3d!

Yeah, the QFG series was awesome. One of the rare adventure games that you really needed to play through more than a few times.
It's an excellent game kinda done in the same style as CoMI, and with excellent humour.
Other then that:
Innocent until Caught
MM2 : Day of the Tentacle
Sam & Max Hit The Road
Broken Sword
Beneath a Steel Sky
Discworld
Simon the Sorcerer

I also really liked the AGD fan remakes of King's Quest I and II.

Where you aware some fans remade Kings Quest 3? I think its pretty good too.
