Gared will probably change in Season 2
He encountered many problems and other things in Season 1.
Now he is Battle-hardenened, has an own Army and will probably become a Badass.
I could also Imagine him with a thick beard, haha.
But how do you think will he react, if you killed Duncan? If he's your traitor?

I'm hoping to see him change in Season 2. I'm also hoping for his clothes to literally change in Season 2, since it annoyed me how he just walked around beyond the Wall in a Night's Watch uniform.
I'm not sure how choices'll work in Season 2, but seeing as I made him stay at the Grove, I don't even know if he'll find out about his Uncle.
He could possibly become a badass but I want to see how he's been affected by all of it. We have one bit of evidence that he has been effected by the Red Wedding more than we thought when he almost killed Jon and giving the reason that he's 'keeping at the ready' which does suggest that he has been affected and maybe shows lack of trust. I think my Gared is going to be worse than that though, I butchered Cotter and I'd say that's gonna mess him up even more. So I imagine he has been effected by the Red Wedding, the death of his family, possibly Finn if you brought him along and if you butchered Cotter. I can just imagine him running around, killing people for hearts if you stayed at The North Grove.
Like Lewsblake23 said I would love to see a clothes change. He'd look so cool in some North Grove style clothing, he just really needs to get out of the Night's Watch clothing.
If he can even find out that Duncan was the traitor and if he was killed I think Gared would be upset at first, the last of his family would be dead but I think he would be angry that his uncle betrayed House Forrester, maybe even angry to the point that he is glad Duncan was killed. Gared is super loyal to House Forrester, he's risked everything for them so I doubt he would be too bothered about traitor Duncan's death.
I love Gared so much and I'd love for him to get some development. One thing I considered to be a really big thing with my Gared is that he doesn't kill people if he doesn't have to. He spared the soldier on the farm, didn't kill Britt until there was no other choice, and spared the wildling that stole the food. And by EP6 I had Gared slowly become angry and impatient. I had him yell at the twins saying he deserves to know what they're hiding after all he's been through, and saying multiple times that he's endured worse.
Plus in my playthrough he's going back to Ironrath, and Duncan died in the battle. So it'll be great to see how he handles seeing the home he sought to protect in ruins and his uncle dead.
I think I'd be interested to see how Gared would react to meeting Duncan as a traitor.
