Jon Snow/Ghost Theory debunked?

Well everybody seems to think that Jon Snow warged into Ghost in his final moments right? That's a very famous book theory. Well in the final seconds of the trailer, ghost is shown lying down next to Jon's dead body with Night's Watch brothers in the room. He didn't appear to be moving at all and seemed dead. Seems to me as if that theory is now considered bullshit for the show. Unless Ghost (as Jon) is just sitting there guarding his own body but I doubt that.

  • Ok even if Jon Snow had his warged ability and had went into Ghost it doesn't mean he could go straight back into his body, his body is still damage. wouldn't that mean for the time being he is trapped in Ghost's body?

I would be nice to see other Stark children be able to do this ability but on the show we only have seen one Stark child who learnt how.

  • Yeah the theory goes that right now he's stuck in Ghost's body. Sort of the like the wildling that warged into the eagle after dying. his body may be damaged, but think about the guy from season three who was basically cut in half and came back to life with a scar. Melisandre is going to put his body in the wall (the magic in the wall supposedly will keep bodies from decomposing) and try to figure out how to do what the guy from season three did. At least that's my best guess.

  • Jon Snow isn't a warg in the show so that might be a reason.. I mean making him a warg right now would be odd.
Still -as you said- might happen in books. (his last words being ghost and all)

  • He showed some increase of his warging abilities near his end in the books and Melisandre showed she can into magic, maybe she could put his soul back from Ghost into some other human body or repair the old one.
