Who will rule Ironrath?
I've been wonderling who will rule Ironrath, now that the Forresters have lost it. If Mira married him I'd imagine Rickard Morgryn would, but would the Whitehills let him have it? would they even be able to stop him? If not Morgryn I imagine that Gryff Whitehill would take it, that's if Ludd's dead of course. If Gryff is dead then maybe Ludd will give it to Torrhen Whitehill? Or maybe even a trusted commander.
So my top candidates for the new Lord of Ironrath are:
- Gryff Whitehill.
- Torrhen Whitehill.
- Ricard Morgryn.
What about you? Who do you think will be the new Lord of Ironrath in Season 2? And how do you think they'll govern it?

I want to say let them fight over it.
I killed Gryff in my playthrough. So, it might be Torrhen who comes to Ironrath and govern it. It is rather difficult to say how he will govern it, because we don't know his personality and if he has anything to govern considering how many Forrester people has been killed and driven away in Season 1 and Ironrath must have its damage repaired if anyone want to inhabit it. I think Ironrath might be turned into a lumber camp or something, as they will probably start cutting the Ironwood Grove.
As for Rickard Morgryn, if Mira marries him and neither Rodrik/Asher and Ryon reveal their themselves, then it is Mira's by right and thus his. But that claim will be disturbed once Rodrik/Asher and Ryon reveal their themselves as alive, because they have the strongest claim to Ironrath.
I didn't have Mira marry Morgryn, because I didn't want to give my surviving family another enemy to fight, especially someone they are completely unaware about. But I have thought more about it since and maybe marrying Morgryn is a good thing, Mira is able to help her family from the inside and she might get to see them again.
Imagine the state Ironrath will be in when we get it back (If we get it back). There will be a lot of rebuilding to do.
In my playthrough, I killed Gryff and refused to marry Morgryn. So it's either Ludd or Torrhen. Probably Torrhen.
