Fettucini Brothers

OK, been playing the SOMI special edition and the Fettucini Bros cracked me up. I guess I always thought they were funny, but with the voice acting they're hilarious. I'd now like to see them in a Tales episode more than any other character with the same voice actors. It's high time for a return of Alfredo and Bill. Make it so. ;)

I got the part of the Fettucini Bros in the MI Speech Project, and I'm very happy with it! They're really funny to record.

I think a lot of the voice casting in the LA version has been great. I don't like Guybrush being so tall though, but i've written about that elsewhere so I won't moan.

Silverwolfpet: sounds like a good casting if you ask me. The "Pie" sketch is brilliant btw :)

Wow, gee, thanks! :D It was for a contest... we were the only ones who didn't cheat. Naturally, we lost. :)

    Sorry for offtopic guys.

    Haahaahahahaha! Yeah, that's right! :D

Back to the topic: It is rather interesting that everybody remembers the Fettucini Brothers, but few ask about other characters like Mort the Gravedigger, or Madam Xima. Those were funny characters too, with short roles, but relevant to the plot. Weird, huh? I guess it would be cool to see them again.
    If I'm not mistaken
I think TellTale will bring lots and lots of old characters in chapter 4, at the trial... it would seem logical! "He stole my tarot cards", "He cut of me peg leg", "He threw me off a cliff" etc.

Good point, and something i'd never thought of. Most of the old characters wouldn't work satisfactorily if brought to a new location... they just wouldn't fit. But in a trial it would be hilarious to see Guybrush's selfishness and kleptomania come back to haunt him!

Speaking of kleptomania, playing through the old games the thought kept coming to me, "I wonder if anyone has become a klemptomaniac from playing old school adventure games?" Think about it, you get positive reinforcement for trying to pick up everything that's not nailed to the ground. (And sometimes things that are.)

    Sorry, off topic!

Just wondering if this happened to anyone else, when i went to the tent for the first time and the Fettucini brothers are arguing with each other, when i have the choice of what to say, if i chose the line "does this place have a bathroom" Guybrush will only say "does this place" and then the Fettucini brothers will start talking, i am wondering if this is a bug or is it meant to be them so eager that they interupt him.

I found this video of a preview at the same part but Guybrush does finish the line: here

So did this happen to anyone to me it looks like a last minute adition to get them to cut him of or a bug.

Same thing happened to me. I chose "I'm selling these fine leather jackets." And he only got the first part out before they cut him off. I believe it's intentional as they're meant to be fairly intense.

Intentional, I'm sure. They cut me off too. He probably finishes the line only if the computer is a bit on the slower side (or is busy recording a video for Youtube) as it takes that extra second to load up the animation and audio.

You know, watching the scene reminded me so much of tennis.

Head turn left, head turn right, head turn left, head turn right... repeat.

Sorry for off-topic but recording a video on youtube??? Why not downloading it in HD-quality with a Mozilla-Plugin?

Aprospos HD-quality: I downloaded the trailer in HD-quality and I can watch it whenever I want to.

Not exactly... but I USED to collect random objects off the street thinking that eventually they will be useful to me later. :D REally...all sorts of junk. I even tried to combine some.

Actually, I was saying that a computer would be running a bit slower when it is recording a video of the Fettucini Brothers for YouTube not on YouTube. But hey yeah, good to know. ;)
