Voodoo Lady's voice

Ok am I the only one who's really not a fan of the new actress thats doing her voice in Tales? They seem to have gotten the original actress to do SOMI:SE and it just fits so much better. Her voice is so much richer and the new actress has a really bad accent! I wonder why they couldn't have gotten the original actress to do both.

It's the same person in both, Leilani Jones.

Whatever the actress is in TMI, it's not the same one in CMI and EMI. I checked the credits. I don't know if SMI:SE has the original or not as I have yet to play it and see any cast list.

EDIT: Just checked, Leilani Jones is the voice in CMI and EMI but NOT in TMI. I forget her name but I went to look it up after I read it in the TMI credits and TMI's was not Leilani Jones.

I think she did just fine...

It is a new actress in TMI. I like her better than Leilani Jones, personally. Better accent. But really they sound very much alike, some people didn't even realize it's a different actress, so it's a pretty silly thing to fuss over.

She's great. I like that accent.

I personally like the new voice for the Voodoo Lady. I think I might even prefer her doing the voice. I would like to know why the original actress wasn't used, though. I find the reasons behind these types of decisions interesting.

I liked the Voodoo Lady voice in Tales of Monkey Island. I played SoMI Special Edition yesterday and the original Voodoo Lady seemed more serious.

The new Voodoo Lady is more fun. "Like a volcano!"

I like the voice, but I think she was going a bit overboard with the accent. Though come to think of it maybe it's the writers that went a bit overboard with the "voodoo juju"s and "-arr"s.

I didn't notice. I liked how she said his name.

I noticed the difference and prefer the the CMI voice. She was cool.

Yeah I agree. The way she said "Unmentionables" was hilarious.

I love the new voice, the way she says "Guybrush Threepwood". The old voice was a bit more scary but indeed the new one is more fun.

Ugh, I hate her new voice. The way every word is separate from the others makes it sound like they used a voice synthesizer - AKA, MS Sam-like. D:
It's awful trying to listen to her.
